Chuckling at her friend Alice replied, “You would.”
“Okay we are going to get started. It is going to be a little uncomfortable. Just let me know if you want to take a break.”
Nodding, Alice simply held her friend’s hand a little tighter.
“So what are you and Kim doing tonight,” Dana questioned trying to distract Alice?
“I don’t know. She is picking me up at seven. I know we are going to dinner I just don’t know where,” the blonde answered giving a little whimper.
Dana gently began stroking the top of Alice’s hand in a calming gesture.
“Do you know where she’s taking me,” Alice asked?
“Nope.”
“Yeah, you would have told me by now. You are the worst at keeping secrets.”
“Okay Ms. Pot, you’ve probably never kept a secret in your entire life.”
“Fuck,” Alice muttered as the needle hit an oddly sensitive spot on her arm. “I hope it is something low key, whatever she has planned…”
“Someone call the paper! Alice wants to do something low key! On her 21st birthday no less!”
“Shut up.”
“Well I guess getting a tattoo isn’t that low key of a way to spend a birthday,” Dana continued thoughtfully, ignoring the blonde. “I mean when you look at it is crazier than the typical ‘wow look I am 21 now lets go to every bar and club in LA and get totally shit-faced.’” Pausing to give the blonde a goofy grin, “Although that is how you spend most weekends right?”
“Do you know how not funny you are? Because it is pretty spectacular how unfunny you are,” Alice replied with a roll of her eyes.
Dana was about to reply when Jim announced that he was finished.
Alice whipped her head around quickly, glancing at her arm for the first time and then Jim. “Wow that was fast!”
“Well, since you were just sticking with black it wasn’t too bad. But it has been about an hour and a half so, longer than I said it would take. Let me go get you some information about cleaning and taking care of the tat for the next two weeks. I’ll be right back.”

Yet another excellent chapter, anionayo! Loved Dana and Alice together at the tattoo parlor. You did a great job with their banter. I also love that Dana held Alice’s hand and paid for the tattoo. Very sweet. You really have built up that strong bond of friendship between them. The Wimbledon thing was so funny! Dana might just want to throw the last match and come in second. I think we should let akshunjack and HarukaFairbanks take care of Scott. He would never bother anyone again. He may never even be seen again. I am glad Lara understood the situation at the party and didn’t push it. The interaction between everyone at the party was done very well. I hope Alice finds out that Dana was instrumental in putting the party together. I am a little worried about Kim, too. I hope she doesn’t mess things up for Dana. Thanks for the great update to this amazing story!!

Like MaGoose, I also thought it was so sweet that D paid for the tattoo and coordinated the party for her birthday. This story gives “Danish in the making” a new meaning.
