    The IV in place… Tina had a worried look on her face…

    Dr. Wilson:  it will be over before you know it…

    Tina’s eyes began to close and she was fast asleep…

    Dr. Wilson:  so Bette would you like to stay… as she handed her a gown and face mask… just stand by her feet… it won’t take long…

    She lifts Tina’s gown and immediately she found the lump… the nurse watched… and handed her the scalpel … she made the small incision and cut it right out… placed in it the petri dish… and the nurse took it to the lab… while Dr. Wilson closed the incision…

    Bette:  that’s it…

    Dr. Wilson:  Yes that’s it… and a little surgical super glue and we are done…

    Bette:  no stitches…

    Dr. Wilson:  No this is so much better… no sewing… after all those years in Home Economics… and now we super glue… who knew… ok she should be up in abut 5 minutes… I’ll be back… don’t let her get up and don’t let her touch herself… that’s the first thing women do… so be ready…

    Bette:  I’m not going anywhere…

    Bette was looking into the closed eyes of her lover… she could tell Tina was starting to come around… she finally opened her eyes and smiled when she saw Bette looking down at her…

    Tina:  I love waking up with you hovering over me… but why are you dressed… looking around and then remembering where she was…

    Her hands automatically tried to cup her breasts…

    Bette:  hold on there baby… be careful…

    Tina:  I have to touch them… please move your hands…

    Bette moved her hands slowly and let Tina feel that her breasts were still there… and a sigh of relief came across her face…

    Tina:  they’re still there…

    Bette:  Of course… the doctor said they would be…

    Just then Dr. Wilson walks back in…

    Dr. Wilson:  Tina I see you awake…every thing is fine I even got the first lab report back… and its very normal… the full lab report will be back by Tuesday… and I have no doubt it will say the same…

    Tina:  Thank you Dr.

    Dr. Wilson:  Now no lifting… no reaching for anything… and I want you to wear a bra… one with support… day and night till I see you on Wednesday… come in any time after work… you don’t need an appointment… it will only take a few minutes… now as I told Bette you have no stitches… you were super glued… so also no bandages… you can shower and let the glue fall off all by itself… don’t pull at it… other then that I think you are done… remember no lifting and no reaching for anything… I don’t even want to reaching to unhook your bra… understood…

    8. It just so happens that I am currently at the 10th anniversary of having been hospitalized for a 2 week stretch-10 days of which were in intensive care. My relationship with the nurses was a lot less personal than that between B&T, so they only wore the gloves at such a juncture. Regardless, if anybody ever wipes your ass for you, be sure to say “thank you”.
