Tina: I under stand… see you Wednesday
Bette helped Tina get dressed and they walked back into the waiting room…
Linda: You’re done already…
Putting her arm around Tina… Bette had the side that was cut… this way no one would accidentally hug her to hard…
Bette: Yep all set and the first lab test came back and it’s normal…
Lisa: Oh thank God…
Tina: yeah… thank God… babe take me home
Bette: that’s where we are headed…
Back at the house
Bette: now remember no lifting and no reaching for anything…
Linda: yes there are 3 of us here… one of us would get what ever you needed…
Tina: Don’t worry I don’t plan on doing a thing…
Bette: good… hey mom what time did dad say he was getting her…
Linda: not until about 7…
Lisa: I just called him and told him Tina is fine… he said he hopes to be leaving by 5…
Tina: hey babe… why don’t you get that tape for mom to see…
Linda: yeah… I would love to see that tape… and don’t worry no one will ever know I saw it or even know about it…
Tina: we know mom…
Linda: even though I bet Amanda would love to hear about it…
Tina: now mom don’t be mad but she has seen the tape… she helped us plan it… she’s the one who got Bette out of the pool who then got me out of the pool… just watch and you’ll see…
An hour later when all of the laughing finally died down…
Bette: its gets funnier and funnier each time we see it…
Linda: now that was priceless…
Tina was getting up…
Linda: where are you going…
Tina: I have to go to the bathroom…
Bette: ok let me help you…
Tina: I think I remember how to go to the bathroom…
Linda: Tina… NO REACHING… of any kind… that’s what the doctor said…
Tina: she didn’t mean that
Bette: Of any kind… lets go…
In their bedroom bathroom…
Bette: Tina… what’s the problem… I’ve seen you go to the bathroom before… hell you have sat on my lap and pee’d…
Tina: I know… this is so embarrassing… I really have to go babe… you know…
Bette: yeah… OOOOOOOOO… smiling… just let me help you with your pants and I’ll be out side… call me when your done… ok… you promise…
Tina: I promise… hey… I love you…
Bette: me too…
Bette sat on the edge of the bed laughing to herself… then she gets up and quietly runs out of the bedroom to the kitchen…
Linda: you didn’t leave her alone did you…
Bette: For just a minute… but I have to play a trick on her… (Looking in the drawers…)
perfect here they are… and getting a dishtowel… and an apron
Linda: What are you doing…
Bette: (Laughing)… well she is going to the bathroom… and well I have to go in and you know…
Linda: yeah I get the picture… she is going to kill you… but it’s funny…
Lisa: Oh that’s good… but mom is right… she is going to kill you…
Linda: just don’t tape it…
Bette: hmmmm… if I could I would…
Running back and putting the apron on and tying the towel around her face and putting the rubber gloves on… she waited for Tina to finish and call her…
Tina was done… as she sat there thinking… why am I embarrassed… this is so crazy… she is my wife… she has seen everything… and we have done every thing to each other… so why does this feel so… I don’t know…
Hey babe… I’m done… she puts her hand over her eyes as Bette walks in… ya know babe… as she looks up… she bursts out laughing… and throws a roll of toilet paper at Bette… you are bad… you are so bad… I will get you for this…
Bette also falls over laughing… and outside the door they can hear Linda and Lisa also laughing…
Tina: (Laughing) you’re all crazy… but I love you all…
Bette takes the gloves off and the towel … baby I couldn’t resist… as she kneels down before her… My Queen on her Throne…
What I should KNIGHT you… can you please do what you came in here to do…

It just so happens that I am currently at the 10th anniversary of having been hospitalized for a 2 week stretch-10 days of which were in intensive care. My relationship with the nurses was a lot less personal than that between B&T, so they only wore the gloves at such a juncture. Regardless, if anybody ever wipes your ass for you, be sure to say “thank you”.
LMFAO…Bette is funny…I am so glad Tina is okay…this drama can be over and they can start their family. The hot tub action was hot…Tina needed that to relax.
Bette have been so sweet with Tina since the diagnosis, and the way she has to make Tina more comfortable are incredible, you are doing a great job and i like that all is happiness in your story, i hope read the other chapter in the night,
