    CARMEN:  (Tears running down her cheeks)  Shane that was sooo beautiful.

     

    SHANE:  Carmen, I know you may never trust me again. And you may not forgive me either. But, I will tell you this, I will never ever love another person. The only person, I will ever love is you. I wont never be exclusive with another woman unless its you. Baby, I want you back in my life until one of us die. And if you ever die before me, I will die no sooner after you. Because this love I have for you is only for you. If I cant have you…I dont want anyone else.

     

    CARMEN:  (Grabbing Shane’s hand)  Shane, you dont have to wait until the end of time for me. I loved you then and I still love you now. You are my air. You are on my mind all day and night. Ive tried other women also, but none compared to you. You had my heart the 1st time we met. I love you sooo much. Im scared but im more scared of what I would become if you wasnt in my life. Baby, only you can make my heart go pitter patter.

     

    SHANE:  (Tears falling)  Ive hoped that one day, you would say those words to me again. I promise baby, Ill never ever disappoint you again. I love you, Carm.

     

    CARMEN:  I love you too, Shane. (Carmen grabs Shane and they kiss passionately)

     

    SHANE:  (Screaming out loud)  I GOT MY BABY BACKKKK!!!!!

     

    CARMEN:  (Laughing)  Yes you do…But wait, I live on the East Coast…Shane.

     

    SHANE:  This thing we got right here…is all that matters. We will find a way baby. Dont worry about that.

     

    CARMEN:  (Kissing Shane)  Okay..I wont worry. But I just want to say…I love you, I love you….I love you…I dont want to ever stop saying it to you.

     

    SHANE:  And I dont want you to ever stop. Wait I have to make a call. (Shane dials Bette)

     

    BETTE: Hello

     

    SHANE: (Yelling)  SHE’S MINE, BETTE. SHES ALL MINEEEEEE!!!

     

    BETTE:  (Laughing)  Im happy for the both of you. So we have our women back.

     

    SHANE:  You got that right and Im never letting go.

     

    BETTE:  Me either, Shane.

     

    SHANE:  Okay, have to go…talk to you later.

     

    BETTE:  Bye Shane

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    Shane hangs up the phone, grabs Carmen and spins her around.

     

     

     

     

    SHANE:  I love you, Carmen.

     

    CARMEN:  I love you, too…Lets go back to my hotel.

     

    SHANE:  Are you sure?

     

    CARMEN:  I havent been more sure than all my life.

     

     

     

     

     

     

    Shane and Carmen cleans up the picnic area and walks away holding hands. Shane looks up to the heavens and mouth silently, thank you.
