CARMEN:  Wow, this is sooo beautiful shane. You really out done yourself.

SHANE:  Cmonnn, you know this is nothing.

CARMEN:  Yes it is…Wait, do I smell Thai?

SHANE:  That you do…Are you hungary?

CARMEN:  Yes…Im starving.

Shane and Carmen gets their food and begins to eat. While they are eating, they keep taking little stares at each other and smiling. After they were done, Shane puts everything in a nearby trash can. Shane comes back and lays on the blanket across from Carmen.

SHANE:  I love coming here after work to unwind.

CARMEN:  This place is sooo peaceful and beautiful.

SHANE:  (Looking at Carmen) I want to say something to you, but I dont want you to talk until im done.

CARMEN:  Okay, I wont talk.

SHANE:  I need to get all this off my chest before i loose the nerve too. Im very nervous right now, but i need to say this to you.

CARMEN:  Take your time, shane…Im not going anywhere.

SHANE:  (Breathing heavily)  Here it goes…Carmen, I first want to tell you im sooo sorry for leaving you at the altar. Everyday, since that day…I have died inside. I should of told you, my father said I was just like him. I got scared because I thought he was right. Ive hated myself for thinking that ever since. Carmen, I did want to marry you…What am I saying, I still do want to marry you.

CARMEN:  (Looking like a deer caught in a headlight)  What?  You want to marry me, still?

SHANE:  Carmen, you promised you wouldnt talk until I was done.

CARMEN:  (Apologizing)  Im sorry…please continue.

SHANE:  Okay. Carmen, Ive been in love with you since the 1st day we met, and I still love you. I kept trying to be with random chicks to get you out of my head. Carmen….It never ever worked.
