    Shane had changed clothes and now stood in her kitchen with Alice, who had borrowed some clothes from Jenny.

     

    “Shane, why did you do that ? I was talking to Tina !” Alice scolded her friend.

     

    “What did I do ? Had to get your attention, Al. Okay what did you two talk about ?” Shane asked.

     

    “We’ll meet for lunch on Sunday !” Alice told her friend.

     

    “That’s odd, don’t you think ?” Shane scratched her neck in her typical motion.

     

    “Yes, she gave in very easy to my request, now that you point it out. Actually I had the feeling…” Alice couldn’t finish her thought because Jenny came in, Max in tow.

     

    They all greeted one another and sat down to tell him the news. After they finished he looked enthusiastically at them.

     

    “Wow, that’s great news. Not about Bette moving I mean, but you all buying her house. Wow.” Then he looked at Jenny. “Maybe we can come to an understanding about your house ?”

     

    “You want to buy ?” Jenny was astonished.

     

    “Oh no, that’s not possible at the moment. But renting might be in the budget. I have to check my options.” He smiled.

     

    “This day is getting better and better.” Alice laughed. “Who would’ve thought after last night.”

     

    “Ah, now that you mentioned the night. I have a date later, so can we please get over to Bette ?” Shane told them.

     

    “Let me guess… Dr. Sullivan ?” Jenny smirked.

     

    “Yes. And…”

     

    “Ahem… who is Dr. Sullivan ?” Came the question from Max.

     

    And they told him about Blue King Porter. “That I have to see ! You think Bette would mind if I came over with you ?”

     

    “Why should she ? But there’s one other thing…” Alice couldn’t hold back any longer.

     

    “ALICE !” Simultaniously from Jenny and Shane.

     

    She glared at them. “What ?? He’ll know soon enough !”

     

    “That may be true, but it’s not your place to tell Max.” Shane said accusingly.

     

    Alice was offended but saw to Shane’s reasoning.

     

    Meanwhile Max had followed the battle of words, but had a suspicion. “You mean they finally got together ?” He asked into the round.

    4. Oh kijuma this is great..how about felinus interruptus!!! Sky is going to be very upset though, she had her heart set on Helena’s getting a dog. Wait, I thought Helena was going to live in the apartment on the house? they have been together ONE DAY and they are moving in TOGETHER??? Don’t let Shane change her mind about living there too. I guess sky and I will have to get a dog..and what is the new kitty going to be named???
