“It’s awkward to continue now, Darling.”
“Why, Love ?”
“Because you guessed right. That account helds a lot of money in it today.” Helena blushed.
“Ahem… how much exactly is a lot for you ? Not to pry, Lena, but I think I need to know.” Bette blushed with her.
Both laughed sheepishly, then Helena’s mouth got near Bette’s ear and whispered the number.
If Bette wasn’t laying already, she would’ve fallen down. Her eyes bulged and her throat constricted.
A few minutes they stared at each other until Bette found her speech again.
“I’m in love with a fucking millionaire after all !”

Chapter 24
“I really like you using the l-word, my heart.” Helena said softly.
“Why shouldn’t I, Lena ? I’m in love with you and saying it feels right. And remember, I told you before I knew this !” Bette smirked. “But now you have some explaining to do, young lady of mine !”
Helena just nodded. She was all too aware of that and it was something she’d dreaded from the first moment her mother had cut her off financially. How could she live with such a lie ? To depend on friends all the while knowing she had an account with more money in it, than some of them would ever own.
Bette watched the emotions run wild on her lovers face and she thought she knew exactly what was going on behind those beautiful eyes.
Her finger graced Helena’s cheekbone. “Love, if this is too much too soon…”
“No, Bette, it’s not. How could it ? But I easy can guess there are some hard facts and even harder questions coming from you now, so…”
“So what, Lena ? It had to be tough living with that lie ! Pretending to have nothing more than the clothes on your back and still knowing you could buy out fucking Armani !”
“Well, you’re right on the tough part… And I love YOU in Armani by the way.” Now a little smile stole itself on Helena’s features.
“Helena, let’s tackle this rationally ! I’d thought about your situation, otherwise I wouldn’t have considered letting you use the apartment at the new house… and we weren’t even friends then, merely aquaintances. I also told you, I’d found it odd for you not to have a stash somewhere. Maybe someone else considered that too, but never voiced an opinion.“ Bette tried to reason with her girlfriend.

This was hot and at the same time light to read. i’m really curious to know how hel’s is going to explain things about her fortune, especially to Mrs P but i’m glad she’s not poor. F*ck!!! You lied to me, you said you wouldn’t post before the weekend and than I step somewhere in the best bar in cyberspace and learn that you’ve posted. Not that I’m mad at you about that because I know you never break a promise, so I’ll assume that you will post your chapter 25 somewhere during the weekend, isn’t it luv? Writing NC-17’s is not your thing huh, than please explain to me why I feel the way I do now after reading this chapter. Anyway loved this chapter a lot and after the cold shower I’m gonna take I will feel a lot more confortable ;). Thank you for this one.

So Helena has millions, Bette’s getting a buddy for Blue and the two of them are gettin a house together. I don’t think this can get any better. Please post soon. But how about a warning next time b/c i’m in serious need of a cold shower about now.
