    Chapter 7

     

    “Alice, Helena, nice to see you.”

     

    Alice nearly jumped out of her skin. “Tina, hey. How are you ?”

     

    Tina had Angelica in her arms, Mikey and Henry were standing beside her. “We’re fine. And you two ? What are you up to ?”

     

    “Well, Tina, hello. Henry, hi Mikey.” Helena greeted them. “We are about to stock up our food.”

     

    Henry exchanged a glance with Tina and she nodded.

     

    “Ahem, yes, we were just about to leave. Mikey has a soccer game and we’ve finished our shopping for today.”

     

    “Good luck for you, Mikey.” Helena smiled at him. “And you have a nice time at the game.” She nodded her head at the adults.

     

    “Yes, have fun, all of you.” Alice gave her own parting, grabbed Helena’s hand and they strode off.

     

    Tina rolled her eyes and Henry placed his hand on her back, guiding her to the car. “Chance meeting. Next time we should just ignore them.” He said to her.

     

    Next time I meet them, you’re so not with me. Tina thought. And what was that about Alice and Helena holding hands.

     

    Alice and Helena went to get a shopping cart and could feel Tina’s eyes on them.

     

    “Wow, nice little instant family. Wait ‘til I tell Bette we met them.“ Alice laughed.

     

    “Al, you shouldn’t !“ Helena shook her head. “It’s obviously what Tina wants, so we should not interfere.“

     

    “But, Hel, didn’t you see the look on his face when I grabbed your hand. He‘s a homophobic….“

     

    “It doesn’t matter to us. It’s Tina I’m worried about.“ Helena replied.

     

    “Worried ? About Tina ? I don’t get it. You’re in love with Bette, how can you be worried ? You should dance on the table with happiness. I mean, when Tina is gonna get the little tidbit about you and Bette…“ Alice couldn’t finish, because Helena’s face lost all it’s colour.

     

    “Oh no, you’re right. But, there is no Bette and I at the moment, so Tina can’t do anything about Angelica.“ Helena’s worries now turned into another direction.

     

    “No Bette and you… at the moment! That’s going to change and you know it ! So cross that bridge when you‘re at it. Duh.“ Alice was losing her patience with this discussion.

    1. Wow Shane has a lot to chew on. Surprise that it was Helena. Bette is moving,selling her art and falling in love with Helena. Believe that Tina plans on leaving Her BOYTOY. thanks

    2. whoaaa wow never thought Bette would admit having feelings for Helena too. mmmm I like thi svery much but poor Shane she really got a lot to deal with but she’s always been faithful to Bette so I’m pretty sure she’ll stick around and support Bette in every way she can. Great work dear, keep those chapters coming :)

    3. Good for Bette, way to come clean. But i feel for hane b/c she’s losing her best neighbor. I’m thinking the place Bette is going to buy down on the beach is pretty big, maybe Shane can move in and they can be roomies….just an idea. And i can’t wait to read how excited Helena is going to be when she hears the news about Bette moving next door. Helena is going to be thrilled. Actually beyond thrilled, she going to be freakin blown away!!! Post soon.

    5. Excellent move..Bette and Helena living next to each other..and Shane needs to live with Bette…it’s true she needs her best buddy. Blue will LOVE the beach!!!

    7. This chapter is also well written…I can’t hate it. I too think that Shane should live with Bette for awhile. If her house is big like Helena’s then she will have plenty of room.

    9. I am thinking that since Bette is going to have a big house at the beach, and hopefully Shane with her, that would be much better environment for a puppy. Blue came from somewhere, he has a home..
