Change – Chapter 44
“Holy hell,” Bette said softly, unconsciously biting her lower lip. She licked her lips and had a hard time keeping herself in control. Every bone in her body wanted to jump the delicious woman in front of her. “You can’t seriously expect your students to pay attention to the game, can you?”
“I’m sure they’ll be immersed in the game.”
“When you’re walking around like that?”
“Besides, the game only starts the 2nd hour, the first hour there’s a test.”
“They’ll fail. All of them. They’ll be too busy ogling you to bother about a test.”
“You are biased. Because you were in love with me…”
“Face it, you’re hot. I wasn’t the only one lusting after you. The difference was that others could look at someone else a second later, think they were hot and forget about you. Me, on the other hand… you dominated my every thought. I couldn’t look at another girl or woman without comparing her to you. Every love story, song, poem reminded me of you. Every main character in every book I read looked like you. I wrote you numerous letters that I ended up just putting away and try to forget about them.”
Tina shook her head. How had they ever been able to suppress their feelings for one another, pretend they just got along very well and shared the same interests. She sat down at the side of the bed.
“You wrote me letters?” she asked softly.
Bette nodded.
“You still have them?”
Bette hesitated, but nodded again. “I had this paranoid idea that, if I threw them away, someone would find them and spread the word until it reached you. I always thought that in ten years, I would find them, read them and laugh at my own idiocy, silliness, naiveté.”
“Bette, you’re a teenager. It’s only normal to be in love, and this love we have… it’s so much more than that.”
“What else do you want to ask?” Bette observed. She knew Tina was aching to know something else and was trying to get there in her own way. But Bette didn’t know how much longer she could keep it in her pants and she wanted this to go quickly.
“You know me too well,” Tina sighed. “Can I read them?”

LOL. Go, Bette! Speaking of disturbing, there was a Mr. Turner who used to teach math at my school. Didn’t really want that picture of anyone wanting him. Thanks for the update, Genner! I hope beyond the boredom, school is going well!

Hey Genner, Great addition to this awesoeme adventure. Just loved how Bette NEEDED to have Tina. The power suit was such a turn on.Then Tina’s embarrassment as Hugh hit the nail on the head for Tina’s late arrival. I do think Tina needs a friend at work who knows some of the truth about her and Bette as well as her being gay. I do hoep Hugh will be a perfect ally for Tina in her new job. Tina needs some supporters at work because when the rest of the faculty meet Bette there might be dissenting voices and opinions.Bette now needs to welcome the world in and make some new friends as well. More please as this is an addictive tale. Many thanks from Your Loyal Fan.
