    Tina:  Oh yeah, Jeanette said she would prepare dinner. Maybe you and I can get together in the living room and get our list together.  I don’t want to talk about the studio until it’s a done deal. And we still need to find out where Paris is on her claim with the will.  And

    Bette:  Going to be another busy week. But at least I have you in my bed when I retire at the end of the day.

    Tina:  I am so looking forward to being in our home.

    Bette: We are getting closer dear. We just need to find the right place. Things are going well so far.

    Tina:  Oh, there is breakfast. I’ll get it.

    She got up and let the bellman in with the cart of food. Today, Bette ordered French toast, bacon and strawberries, more coffee and orange juice. Tina was thrilled. It was her favorite breakfast.

    Bette smiled at her wife enthusiasm.  She was obviously hungry. Bette signed the check and gave a generous tip to the bellman. They ate their breakfast and joked about the fact that they were going to have to pick up their exercise schedule for the following week. They both confessed that they had not exercised much at all the previous week. Bette suggested that they go home join the family for a late lunch rather than eat out.  Tina agreed and sent a text that they would be home around 12:30 and would like to join the family for lunch. Jeanette text back that she would be prepared.

    They finished their breakfast and put the dishes on the cart and wheeled it out the door and then went to have a shower and prepare to return home. Bette called the valet service and said they would be checking out at 11:00 am and would appreciate the vehicle to be at the door.

    They enjoyed their shower together, washing each other’s body and hair. They put their hair into pony tails and put their make-up on and dressed. They packed the last of their things in the suit case and retrieved the melons and a bottle of wine from the fridge. They looked around to be sure that they had all their belongings and then proceeded downstairs to check out. Bette went to the counter to settle up the charges while Tina took her things to the car to load. Bette followed with her luggage and loaded it into the car. She tipped the valet and then got into the driver’s side dawning on her sunglasses for the drive home.

      I’m sorry I’m not one to comment after each chapter as I can’t wait to continue reading
      I am absolutely loving this story. They way they’ve changed their lives around with new careers and a move back to the LA area. Each couple telling their story of that last 10 years was so, informative, exciting and funny. It was heart warming to read the lovely one on one time, Bette had with Dan and Tina with Angie. You made it sound busy, hectic and so loving.
      It was so like Bette to plan a secret getaway for her and Tina, just what they both needed after the last few weeks of planning, their new lives
