    Once at the house and parked the car in the garage.  They were greeted by Angie and Daniel who hugged on their moms as if they had not seen them in months.  Jeanette and Paris watched the family reunion with big smiles. Bette moved to hug Paris and then Jeanette and Tina followed her. Paris: 

    Once at the house and parked the car in the garage.  They were greeted by Angie and Daniel who hugged on their moms as if they had not seen them in months.  Jeanette and Paris watched the family reunion with big smiles. Bette moved to hug Paris and then Jeanette and Tina followed her.

    Paris:  Well, you don’t have any evidence of having been out in the sun. Did you leave your hotel room?

    Tina:  Yes, we did. We spent most of Saturday out and about. We just were careful about how much sun exposure we got. But we did have a really good weekend. How was your weekend.

    Jeanette:  Absolutely delightful. We have had a great time. I think you have the greatest kids in the world.

    Bette:  Wow! Thank you, Jeanette.  We think they are pretty special too.

    Tina:  Angie, why don’t you and Daniel take our bags up to our bedroom. I’ll take these melons to the fridge. We can have them for breakfast tomorrow.

    Paris:  Welcome home guys.  You both look good. You must have gotten some rest.

    Tina:  Yes, we did. We both had a rather heavy-duty week to recover from.

    Jeanette:  Come on in guys.  Lunch will be ready in about 30 minutes.

    Bette and Tina walked into the kitchen and went to the fridge for some water.

    Bette:  So how did the weekend go for you guys.

    Paris:  It was good Bette. Your two kids are really easy to get along with. They are certainly flexible with their scheduling and they are not picky eaters.  They seemed to be very happy with us being here as their care givers for the weekend. Despite their age difference, they get along well together. It’s really been a delightful weekend.  And Jeanette and I appreciate this opportunity to get to know them better. It went far better than I ever anticipated. We had a lot of fun. You and Tina have done a great job with them.

    Bette:  Good. We may call on you guys sometime in the future to take care of Daniel. But you will have to share your time with Kit and Sonny.  They too want to keep him from time to time.  Kit was in Angie’s life a lot before we moved to New York. And they both want to be in Daniel’s life more so they get to know him as well. As to Angie, well, she will be a young lady who will make her own calls as to who she spends time with really soon. And she will be on the east coast most of the time in just a matter of weeks. Fortunately, we have a few more years with Daniel before he goes to away to school.

      I am absolutely loving this story. They way they’ve changed their lives around with new careers and a move back to the LA area. Each couple telling their story of that last 10 years was so, informative, exciting and funny. It was heart warming to read the lovely one on one time, Bette had with Dan and Tina with Angie. You made it sound busy, hectic and so loving.
      It was so like Bette to plan a secret getaway for her and Tina, just what they both needed after the last few weeks of planning, their new lives
