Ever seen Alias? Well, this is written in a very Alias-esq way. Flash backs and flash forwards. There are elements of the supernatural at play here, for those of you not aware; Emma Young-Scott can see snippets of the future and Shelby Pryde-Doyle can teleport from place to place, feel free to search the ‘net for J*A*D*E*S, and you’ll see what I’m talking about. Also feel free to vent at the end of the chapter or email, jmgrogue@yahoo.com
Collision Course 4.66
“Shane? Damn it, you aren’t home, fuck! Shane…,” said Sam trying to stay calm, swallowing away the fear that edged at her. “I just want you to know, I love you. I’m so sorry, Shane, this isn’t how I wanted it to end, I love you.”
Twenty Four Hours Earlier…..
“Planes, trains, and automobiles,” sang Sam into the phone as she moved towards the hospital, there was a spring in her step, Sam was happy. For the first time in forever she felt like everything was in place in her life. Her residency started in four weeks in the ER as an ER surgical resident. It was a new position, surgeons staffing the ER and following their cases up into the OR, and Sam was extremely excited.
“So the eagle has landed?” asked Shane with a wide grin, her green chipped eyes dancing.
“She has and she’s at Seattle Grace, about to meet with McDreamy,” said Sam walking towards the building. “I’m going to make a stop to talk to Addison Montgomery too.”
“For Justin?” asked Shane tossing an orange over to Shay, who dropped it and had to chase it around the kitchen. He inadvertently kicked it, sending it skittering away again and Shane tried not to laugh.
“Yeah, I mean, it’s the least I can do,” answered Sam. “It’s ok with you?”
“Why wouldn’t it be?” asked Shane pouring herself a glass of milk. It had been a discussion they’d had twice now, and Shane thought that Sam was being sweet. Justin had asked her for something once, and now Sam felt like she was in the right place in her life to do it for him.

Damn, that was intense. Although it seem inevitable that Sam would die with her luck or lack of. Too bad Jo could save her.

J, I know you can figure out a way for Sam to still be alive. Please…Come on, why does anyone have to die? You made us love these characters that you created, so don’t take them away from us. PLEEEEEZE……save Sam!!!!
DAMN JM! Is Sam’s family tree cursed or what? More hardship has come this womans way than any character in a Lifetime T.V. movie. I was reading this update w/ the feeling of gloom in the pit of my stomach (& you didn’t disappoint.) Have to mention, you continue to physically torture Jo – ‘her nose exploded’ – too gross. LOL I’ll stick to my repetitive adjectives instead of digging for new ones that describe your fic – F*ckin’ fantastic.By the by just read JADES again this past week I was just as glued as I was the first time.
Damn you’re good!!! Better than good!! I am so caught up in this story! Thank you J.
Excellent installment…but I need to upgrade you from mean to evil for killing Sam, wickedly evil JM!
nooooo Sam can’t die …sam ROCKS!!!..it has to be a dream….pleaaaaseeee?????
