Chapter 8- Karaoke L Word Style
The crowd cheered and the girl on stage took a deep breath. She closed her eyes, hoping the darkness would take her over, but her nerves were flying.
Shane walked up behind Carmen.
Shane: Hey
Carmen turned around and flashed that award winning smile at her.
Carmen: Hey you.
They hugged.
Alice stood in the front row with her cell phone pointed to the stage.
The girl stood there, stunned hearing the first notes of the song start. One more deep breath was all she had time for. Then she opened her mouth, perfectly harmonized with the guitar.

Shane watched as all the girls passed, watching her as she slightly moved her body to the music.

Carmen watched in jealousy as Shane made eye contact with each girl who looked her way.

Shane looked between all the beautiful women and the one beauty by her side. She was confused. Had she made the right choice, or had she just put the KOD on all the progress her and Alex had made. They had done so much to get over Carmen, to learn to live without her. Should she really have just let her back in like this?
And please don’t be mad at me

So very close to what you had expected
It makes it hard to keep my head up level
The soft voice rang in Jenny’s ears as she watched Carmen and Shane. Twice now, she had let Carmen go for Shane, and twice now had she felt thrown to the side. She hung her head. She knew she had done the right thing, but why didn’t she feel like she had?

Okay, however, short, it was an amazing chapter . . . I kinda’ had a hard time reading the lyrics, cause ‘The Thong’ song just so happen to come on just as I am about to read your chap ~shrugs innocently~ LMFAO!!! Anyways, I like the way Shane kinda’ recapped over the time her and Alex had spent away from Carmen and then she finally realized that she DEFINITELY made the right dicision. WOOT!!! I have to admit, at first, the whole Alice/Alex thing seemed kinda’ pervertive . . . BUT I am beginning to like it, I mean, hey, like the song says, “Age Ain’t Nothin’ But A Number” ;-D Soooooo, yeah, great job and keep up the amazin’ job!!! LYLAS ;-p

Good chapter. It was hard for me to read the lyrics because im singing britney spears n my head LMFAO. IM weird in the morning.But i defintaley dont mind that it was shorter that just emant u got it posted before i had to go to work.And i soo knew it was a tegan and sara song cuz of ur temporary adiction and new CD
