    Alex looked at Alice from the stage, she laughed inside at her girlfriend. She felt awkward on this stage with this microphone in her hand, yet Alice made her entire body relax. As she let the lyrics flow out, she replayed her relationship with Alice in her head.

    High I want to get myself back

    All of the things that you promised me that you’d be

    Now your hands are tired

     

    Jenny looked to Carmen one last time and let a tear fall. She quickly wiped it away.

     

    And all of the things that you promised me

    That you’d need

    Now my hands are tired

     

    Shane took one more look around at all the surrounding girls then locked her gaze on Carmen. Carmen turned and looked to meet her gaze. Their eyes locked and Carmen gave her that starry-eyed smile. Shane then knew she had made the right choice. At that moment, every woman she had ever been with slipped away. She forgot each one. That place she had kept them in her heart or mind, that water balloon they all lingered in popped at that very moment. It was just Carmen.

     

    Come on Come on Come on

     

    Alex gave Alice one last glance and Alice blew her a kiss. Right now, to Alex Jess never existed. The song ended and everyone cheered. Alice pulled herself on stage and pulled Alex into a deep kiss. Everyone got louder and cheered on the couple. Alex smiled and wrapped her arm around Alice before pulling out of the kiss. The crowd kept roaring and applauding. Alice whispered into Alex’s ear.

     

    Alice: For someone who doesn’t sing you sure can sing

     

    Alex: Are you kidding me?

     

    Alice: No that was amazing.

     

    Alex: Maybe I’ll give you a private show later.

     

    Alice smiled and looked over at Alex, she knew this was right so she said it.

     

    Alice: I love you.

     

    Alex smiled loving the way that sounded when Alice said it. She turned and looked into her eyes.

     

    Alex: I love you too.

     

    A/N: Just a short chap. Didn’t have much time to write but I’ve been building that scene in my head all day. Alex and Alice needed a chapter dedicated to their first “I Love Yous” Reply as always. Song: Come on by Tegan and Sara

    5. Okay, however, short, it was an amazing chapter . . . I kinda’ had a hard time reading the lyrics, cause ‘The Thong’ song just so happen to come on just as I am about to read your chap ~shrugs innocently~ LMFAO!!! Anyways, I like the way Shane kinda’ recapped over the time her and Alex had spent away from Carmen and then she finally realized that she DEFINITELY made the right dicision. WOOT!!! I have to admit, at first, the whole Alice/Alex thing seemed kinda’ pervertive . . . BUT I am beginning to like it, I mean, hey, like the song says, “Age Ain’t Nothin’ But A Number” ;-D Soooooo, yeah, great job and keep up the amazin’ job!!! LYLAS ;-p

    7. Good chapter. It was hard for me to read the lyrics because im singing britney spears n my head LMFAO. IM weird in the morning.But i defintaley dont mind that it was shorter that just emant u got it posted before i had to go to work.And i soo knew it was a tegan and sara song cuz of ur temporary adiction and new CD
