Jodi who was following the feelings crossing Bette’s face could read her, even if she couldn’t read her lips.

Jodi knew that Bette loved Tina and she was not afraid of her or of those feelings. She liked Bette a lot, but they were free to decide what to do with their life. Nonetheless, she also thought that it wouldn’t be fair. Tina wouldn’t get Bette back so easily, if that was what she was trying to, without a hell of a fight. Bette was a woman to fight for and Tina had to know about it. Maybe this way, she finally would come to terms with what she really wanted from her life. She made Bette suffer and still does, Jodi could sense it, and it’s about time she also discovered that Bette tried to move on, and that Tina was out of her mind to let her go away, after Bette had fought so much for her.

Besides, Jodi was happy with Bette. With Bette and only Bette. The truth was Jodi didn’t give a damn about Bette’s friends. She cared about Angie, but she didn’t have patience to have children around. She would have preferred just Bette, but she had to buy all the package and this included friends and a child. Anyway, what she really believed was that her Dean was an extraordinary woman and deserved some nice moments from a hot and mature girl. Someone intelligent enough to recognize her value, someone loyal enough to tell her the truth. But in the end, Jodi knew that Bette also needed to belong to someone, and Jodi was not certain she could give her that.  So, at the first thought, Bette needed Tina in her life also, but, did Tina deserve a second chance? Bette needed someone to belong, to become complete. If you really are this woman, Tina…You´ve got to prove to me…To show me… Jodi thought to herself.

“Honey, do you want some help?” Jodi asked. Bette turned to the stove to mix the sauce.

“No, Jod. Thanks, dear, it’s almost ready.” Bette commented.

“Ok, then.”  Jodi leaned herself against Bette’s back, resting her head on her shoulder. From this position she could see Tina coming to the kitchen, bringing Angie and catching up with Alice.

    1. Hey Braz!!! So glad to see it posted, I wasn’t sure if it got lost last night. You know just how I feel about this, and so I won’t bore you any further, except to say…EXCELLENT, and Tina go after your woman! xoxo

    2. Way to go Tina, step up and fight for Bette. Jodi knows that Bette loves Tina but she is unwilling to let go of Bette. I really can’t blame her but by her own admission she knows that they will not last mostly because of herself and not Bette. May the best lady win (Tina for sure).

    3. Great story Braz! :D GOOO TINAAAA! JODI SUCKSSS! XD Please post more soon! Braz i´m from Portugal when I saw the poem from Luis de Camoes i smilled it´s a great poem!

    4. Tina needs to show her alphaness. She was always Bette’s kryptonite and she still is. Go for Bette for keeps. The way that JB portrays Bette makes you want to accept her w/all her flaws. PPS.
