A Tibette Beginning

Chapter 23

Previously…

“That settles it we are getting a test in the morning… let’s go to bed baby… it’s been a roller coaster of a day and you need your rest.” Tina said with a smile as she reached for Bette’s hand.

“I love you T.. you are amazing you know that?”

“I love you to babe, and your pretty amazing yourself” Tina said as she placed her free hand on Bette’s stomach. “Let’s go to bed baby.”

Tina rose with the sun. Her body couldn’t have been more relaxed laying in Bette’s arms, but she was unable to shut her mind off. It was filled with worries about Hailey, thoughts about her new relationship with Bette, and of course the baby. Tina couldn’t have been more excited if she was pregnant herself. She tried to control her excitement because although she knew that she wanted a future and family with Bette she was unsure if Bette was ready or even wanted the same at this point. She tried to put her mind at rest so she could to continue to enjoy her time in Bette’s arms, but it was no use. She needed a run. She maneuvered her way out of the bed careful not to wake Bette and changed into her running clothes. She took a moment to write out a quick note to Bette…

Bette baby…

I couldn’t sleep.. too excited I guess. I didn’t want to wake you so I went for a run. I will pick up a couple tests while I am out. I love you baby, I’ll see you soon!

Tina laid the note on her pillow and headed out for her run.

Tina started back home when she suddenly felt as though something was wrong. She ran back home as quickly as she could. No more than she made it through the door she heard Bette crying quickly followed by the tell tale sounds of early pregnancy. She ran to the bathroom to find Bette in the floor snuggled up to the toilet.
