“Oh Baby… are you Ok? I’m sorry I wasn’t here..”

Bette reached for Tina, but before Tina was able to take her into her arms Bette quickly pulled away for another round. Tina pulled her hair back and rubbed her back as she continued to vomit violently. Once she felt as though she was done Bette turned back toward Tina and sat in the floor. Tina got her a rag for her face, and took Bette into her arms, holding her for a moment before pulling her over to lay her head in her lap.

“Baby are you Ok?”

“I think so…”

“Honey did you have bad morning sickness with Colin?”

“No… not at all.. I think I puked twice the entire time I was pregnant.”

“I’m sorry I wasn’t here with you Babe… how long have you been up?”

“I don’t know a half hour I guess.” Tina quickly did the math in her head… it took her about 20 minutes to run home. That feeling she got had to have been when Bette woke up sick.

“Babe I picked you up some decaf tea, and preggie pops along with the pregnancy tests. Do you feel up to trying to drink some tea?”

“Yeah I think so… thanks T”

Tina helped Bette to her feet.. “T.. I know it seems silly at this point.. but why don’t we do the test now, and fix the tea while we are waiting.”

Tina smiled as she shook her head. She was so excited she could barley stand it. Bette could see and feel Tina’s excitement and it made her feel good. She had been so scared to tell Tina, she knew that she wanted a future with Tina that she wanted a family with her, but it was all no soon, she was sure there was no way that Tina could feel the same way this early on in their relationship.

“I should probably give you some privacy…”

“T… please stay with me..”

“You want me to?” Tina said with a smile.

“Yeah T I do!” Tina couldn’t be happier with Bette’s request, there was no place she would have rather been at that moment.
