Dare to Dream – A Tibette Beginning – Ch 57
A Tibette Beginning
Chapter 57
Previously…
“You have given me the most amazing gift Bette… I don’t know how you have done it.. you have made me his mother in every possible way…”
“No T… you did that.. your love for our son did that. I just made it so the paperwork matched what your love already created. You are his mother Tina just as much as I am.. I want to make sure you are protected. I never want anyone to have an opportunity to question that.”
“I love you Bette… I promise you I will be the best mother I know how to be to both of them”
“I know you will T… that is why we are here… because you already are.. and I know that will never change.”
* * * * *
“Kids… can you come in here please… Momma and I need to talk to you” Bette called outside to wrangle up the troops. Tina walked into the living room with a tray full of cookies and milk for the kids as they came running in and piled up on the couch. Tina sat the snacks down and sat on the floor leaning against Bette’s leg.
“Ok guys your Mommy and I have some important stuff to talk to you about.” Tina started.
“You guys all remember when we talked about being a real family, and how there were things your Momma and I were going to to to make that happen.” Bette was met with three nodding heads that were hanging on her every word.
“Well Mommy and I have been working on getting those things done. Do you guys know what adoption is?”
“Like Samantha Mommy?” Colin asked.
“Yes buddy kinda like Samantha, but it is a little bit different.”
“What is that?” Hailey quietly asked Colin.
“That is when instead of having a baby Mommies or Daddies pick out a baby… Like Samantha in my class.” Colin explained
“Oh”
“That was very good little man… sometimes when a Mommy or Daddy already has a child and they are building a new family a new Mommy or Daddy can adopt a child so that they will have two parents instead of just one.”

They have had their ups and downs, with both ex’s Their love has waver one bit,it has made it stronger. The children are byno means angels but are very loving childre to each other and love both parents so much. Thanks for posting
And that was the correct answer!!! It’s in the bag :)
That was a great answer, yes, but why is the kettle whistling? Isn’t Bette watching it or has something happened to her? Can hardly wait for the next chapter. PPS

Aww, that was so sweet how Bette talked to her daughter and how Tina told it like it was to the social worker. I love how she takes care of Bette. PPS
OMGsooooooooooo emotional, full of love, I am a social worker I could never denie happynees to this family if i was assessing them. That is what it is all about love care, safety, well-being. Thanks tibette513, this is a great story, more than the main tibette hey. PPVS
I just know that Bette is going into labor maybe ????
Skyler was very out spoken which actually worked out for Bette and Tina. The fact that Nicole heard what was said between mommy and daughter may have been what will totally seal the deal. Actually there should be no problem at all with the second parent adoption.
I think it’s a little odd that the social worker would listen in on a conversation before she introduced herself. But I love how much love there is in this story. Thanks for posting!
what health issues? did T have to mention them? I was going to say thx for the non-homophobe social worker until u threw the health issues in the mix; now u’ve got me worried. pps
love it!! tina answer was correct now to hear bette’s side… the very fact that tina is concerned about bette’s health should be major points for them… as well as bette’s conversation to skye on her level. :)PPS
Love the way Bette talk with Sky, and Tina talk with the Social Worker!
