“Is there anything else?” Alice asked smiling as she began to gather her belongings, eager to get home and into a hot bath.

“Uh no, that’s all for now, I’ll see you tomorrow Miss Pieszecki have a good night”.

“Hey come on, how many times, its Alice. I like to keep it real.” Alice made a ghetto gesture causing a low chuckle from the young man in front. He waved slightly and took a quick glance behind his shoulders. “Damn she better be single,” he thought as he made his way over to his station to pick up his jacket.

Alice half walked half jogged to the car, which was not entirely easy to do in a pencil skirt and heels. Hurriedly, she threw her bag in the passenger side and started up the mini monster and took the familiar route that would lead her back to her home.

The Planet

Dana sat contently alongside Bette and Tina listening to their birthing pool troubles. “So apparently it will take two extra weeks to arrive now and that’s just simply not good enough. You’d expect competency for the amount we’ve paid already. It’s becoming a fucking joke.” Dana couldn’t help but laugh a little at Bette’s rant. She was ever the stressed out first time parent and nothing was going to satisfy her until it was perfect.

“I’m sure it will all work out,” Dana offered as she sat down her mango smoothie. Bette just raised an eyebrow and excused herself to take a phone call.

“So how are things living with Al?” Tina questioned although judging by the smile on Dana’s face she already knew the answer. Dana blushed slightly.

“Amazing…She’s just…I dunno…amazing.” Tina gave her a genuine smile and sipped on her caffeine free tea.

“So did you receive any more notes lately?” Dana’s eyes instantly became more serious as her fingers played nervously with her straw.

“No thank god. It was probably some creep just playing a joke but I haven’t heard anything since and I really don’t need to right now. Realistically I only have a few more years of competitive tennis in me and I really need to focus on my game, not sickos who get cheap thrills out of spooking people.” Tina nodded in agreement. Her hand moved to her stomach as she felt an intense kick from within. Dana looked on worriedly.
