    “You know what?” spoke Estelle hastily. “You’re right. Bette and I do have a thing going on”

     

    “Aha!!!! I knew it!!”

     

    “Mm hmm” chittered Estelle nervously, hoping she’d distracted Alice enough from the twins topic

     

    Bette nodded too, already looking forward to hours of public displays of affection with Helena. Who, by the way, has been gone for a very long time. Suddenly wanting to see Helena, Bette twisted round to look for signs of Helena outside… and completely missed the sceptical-but-still-devilish look on Alice’s face

     

    “Kiss”

     

    “What?” responded both Bette and Estelle, their eyes equally wide.

     

    “Kiss” Alice folded her arms smugly. She was on the verge of finding something out, she just knew it, her Spidey senses were buzzing “You two would’ve obviously kissed by now. So no big deal, just kiss and prove that you’ve got something goin’ on”

     

                Bloody hell!

                           

                            Fuck!

     

    Chapter 10

     

    “Bette?”

     

    Bette shot an angelic look at Alice, or rather, at the alien type creature thing that seemed have to transformed Alice into someone very sharp, persistent and actually very sly. “Hmm?” She looked at Estelle, hoping to deflect Alice’s scrutiny to her.

     

    Estelle, on the other hand, seemed to be following the only advice the little voice in her head was giving- play dead. She’d translated that to mean ‘ignore everything’ and was sitting there calmly, filing her nails.

     

    Bette frowned. Although part of her wanted to distract Alice from this line of interrogation, Part Two of her- much bigger and braver (and possibly guided by her nether regions)- wanted to convince Alice that she and Estelle had a thing because then it would be so much easier to be with Helena. In the meantime, she was not about to make it easy for Estelle “Did you hear what Alice said, dear?”

     

    “Dear? Dear?!” balked Estelle.

     

    Bette made a martyr-like expression “See what I have to deal with, Alice?”

     

    “Deal with??!” Estelle’s voice was nearing a pitch only dogs would hear.

     

    Alice raised an eyebrow “This makes very interesting viewing”

     

    “Doesn’t it though?” asked Bette, in her best sad voice and sighed deeply, “She keeps changing her mind about us… it’s almost like there are two of them!”

    5. Oh, my ! I can’t believe you did it ! I can’t believe you stopped there ! Threachery !!!! LOL ! Well, this is a perfectly fine chapter, Lady V. Did I mention before that I loved the interaction between Bette and Alice ? Well, I do. I truly love their complicity and they totally crack me up. Furthermore, that mischievous and roguish side of Alice is so funny !… Yet, are you sure “hmmed” is a word ? You know, I couldn’t find that one in my dictionnary. LOL !All right, on a more serious note, now I think I’d like to see Helena make her real entrance on the stage as she’s been a little too absent in this chapter. I know it’s for the sake of drama, Vvith, but we’ve been missing her… Anyway, I’m soooooo looking forward to reading your next installment ! In fact, is there a way to bribe you so that you can post a new chappie like… Tomorrow ? LOL ! ( whispering : just let us know, Vvitch…). I couldn’t stop laughing at the part wxhere the real helena went bezerk after seeing her evil twin kiss Bette. And Bette’s face at the idea of kissing the wrong twin I could so see it in my imagination. Your writing style is so wonderful sweetie, please keep up the good work and update sooner if you can.
