E-lover: Yes I lost the bet!

-Shane and Helena are having coffee at 6am in the financial centre of New York, slightly high from the caffine.

Shane: Did you see Pam Grier’s boobs!

Helena: What? You’ve a picture of a naked woman in your briefcase? What will your boss say!?

    (raises eyebrow at Shane)

Helena: But, I refuse to look at another straight woman’s breast…Look where it got me. Why? Are they you know (makes a cupping gesture with hands) cupable?

Shane: I think it’s pretty hot, but it’s kind of like squishy, falling slighty flat at the side… and her nipples, a little small, don’t you think?

(leans over Shane to look at the pic)

Helena: hmmm…they do seem on the flat side…they kind of remind me of Alice’s boobs.

    (rolls her eyes)

Wait, Don’t tell her I said that!

    (Says seriously)

Shane: No, not really! I think Alice’s nipples are smaller? and her boobs are like soft and lighter… it doesn’t seem as dense as Pam’s boobs…

    (Scratches head pensively)

    Wait… wait… How did I know?

    (looks curiously over at Shane)

Helena: That is a very good question…you and ah..Alice hitting the funny stuff and accidently you..know…get naked?

Because that needs to be on her chart!

    (Glares at Helena)

    Shane: How did YOU know?

Helena: Oh? That? (laughing) Well, yoga changing rooms. Did you know that time I saw Keira Knightly naked? She signed autographs for us and that was so hot!

Shane: Lucky you! I don’t even take yoga. Hell, I don’t even exercise! Oh yes, before I forget, you forgot to tell me how it went with Miss Persephone, did you email her?

Helena (shrugs): I did, but she didn’t reply my email for two days. Two WHOLE days! We were like emailing non-stop for weeks and she ignores me for 2 days!

Shane: I think you have a huge crush on her.

Helena (Blushing): No, I do not!

Shane: Is that why you’re blushing now?

Helena (Indignantly): That’s because you’re distracting me, you idiot? (Author’s note: I know it has nothing to do with the blushing statement, but that’s just to prove a point.)

    1. hahaha that was quite enjoyable, despite not understanding half the terminology used in the story and maybe a couple of inside jokes :p The best part was reading about how you lost the bet, though :) (I love me some HeleBette, in case you decide to add another chapter)

    2. Hey Rebelzz! I like this quite a bit. Nerds are so cute. Bette being shy around Helena and Helena in crushing on Bette through cyberspace. This could be a funny little fic. I’d like to see where you take it. Would Helena and Bette continue to talk online even though they know who they each are? Then take it the next step and have an actually date? So many places to take it. And even though I don’t know the terminology it’s cool. Good stuff here.

    3. Hmmmm… Helebette. I like it! However, I do have to agree with adumgenius and squirl… I would suggest that you use terminology that the average 8th grager can understand. (Working with medical devices, we are trained to use words that someone at an 8th grade reading level can understand when we write standard operating procedures and work instruction, etc.)

    4. perfect! although i have to admit i would prefer that the girls were structuring deals rather than analysing. throw in a few warehouse lines and you’ve got it made. LOL. on a serious note, it was GREAT! and i’m not a nerd. i can’t add. or subtract.

    5. AHA!!! so I’m not the ONLY one who cant subtract! (refer to ess-n-tee comment above!) Heeeheee! This was funny Rebz! and serves you right for making bets (Bettes?) with ‘certain people’! :D SO, methinks you better start working on the next chappier dearie, because you’re soo going to lose the bet yet again! Well done with this, btw, and on such notice too!
