“Uh, I’ll see how my day goes, and call you later, is that okay?”

“As long as you promise you will call.”

“I will, I promise.  Drive safe okay, and I’ll talk to you later.”

“Okay, Bye.”

“Bye.”

Bette closed the door so Tina could get going, and watched as her tail lights went out of the parking lot.

“I will definitely call.” Bette smiled to herself as she walked to her car.

Bette’s morning at the gallery was full of meetings and she barely had time to fulfill her promise to Tina. It was close to 1 pm when she found herself with 5 minutes alone. She dialled the number she had put as her #1 speed dial on her cell phone. She had made a silent apology to her sister Kit when she bumped her for Tina.

By the fourth ring Bette was sure she would be leaving a message and was a little disappointed to think she wouldn’t get a chance to talk to Tina that day. Suddenly she heard a breathless hello.

“Hello Tina, its Bette Porter calling I hope I didn’t catch you at a bad time?”

Tina smiled at the fact that Bette stated her first and last name, she so knew who it was at hello.

“Hi Bette, no it’s not a bad time at all, you actually saved me from a very boring meeting. I should thank you for that.”

“Okay, go ahead.” Bette smirked at the phone, knowing she was being cocky.

“Hmm, I think I would like to do that in private.” Tina replied, knowingly flirting.

Bette audibly swallowed as she tried to find her voice to respond to Tina.

“Oh, uh, are you sure you have never been interested in women before, because you do a good job of getting a woman’s interest.”

“Hey flirting is flirting, I just figured that women will get more from the oratory than from visual.”

“Oh, never assume the visual is not going to work on a woman Tina. Be assured that women can be very interested in the visual.”

The deep tone to Bette’s voice made Tina very aware of her own bodily responses to the oratory, and had been picturing in her mind what the visual of Bette would be like laying underneath her in her bed. Yes, she was sure that Bette was right about the visual as well.

“Well, can we try that theory out tonight when you come to poker night at my place?”  Tina held her breath waiting for Bette’s answer.

“Um, about that…”

“Please Bette. I really need to see you.” There was a slight whine in Tina’s voice that surprised even her. She was never whiny to her knowledge.

Bette found that the little girl whine made her want to do anything that Tina asked.

“Okay, I’ll be there. What time, and what can I bring?”

“8pm, and just you, that’s all I need.”

Bette again swallowed as she felt her body respond to Tina.

“You do that on purpose don’t you?”

“I have no idea what you are talking about Bette.”

“Sure you don’t, we will see how brave you are in person Ms. Kennard. See you tonight.”

“I look forward to it Ms. Porter.”

Both women hung up the phone and were a little aroused by the exchange they just shared.

“Hmm, Tina thought. Maybe it will be a private game tonight.”
