    Tina: Look I need to go find Angelica, and don’t worry I will talk to her and there won’t be anymore interruptions, I can promise you that. Tina stood up and grabbed her things. Mrs. Bankhead: Mrs. Kennard please, I didn’t mean to cross the line here, my concern is… Tina: I understand your concern,

    Tina: Look I need to go find Angelica, and don’t worry I will talk to her and there won’t be anymore interruptions, I can promise you that.

    Tina stood up and grabbed her things.

    Mrs. Bankhead: Mrs. Kennard please, I didn’t mean to cross the line here, my concern is…

    Tina: I understand your concern, but honestly I don’t feel like discussing my private life with you Mrs. Bankhead, I appreciate all you have done for Angie and again I will talk to her.

    Mrs. Bankhead cleared her throat.

    Mrs. Bankhead: There’s more.

    Tina remained quiet.

    Mrs. Bankhead: Angelica is on the verge of being expelled.

    Tina: For talking back?

    Mrs. Bankhead: No because she has missed a quite few days of her other classes as well, apparently she has been using the sick line and having her friends to cover for her. I’m just now finding out about all of this, if I knew sooner I would have informed you definitely.

    Tina: I can’t believe this. I have been dropping her off here everyday and you mean to tell me she has been leaving once I’m out of sight.

    Tina was shocked but also hurt. She and Bette had always made sure Angelica’s school work and education was most mportant but somewhere down the line both parents had failed to do the job.

    Mrs. Bankhead: I’m sorry I know this has to be hard to hear.

    Tina: I had no ideal.

    Mrs. Bankhead: Of course you didn’t. Erin has been covering for her and today she told Angelica she could no longer do that, and apparently that’s when Angelica got upset and the girls had a big blowup at lunch.

    Tina: Angie, Erin, and Leishia you mean?

    Mrs. Bankhead: Yes.

    Tina: Did you ask them?

    Mrs. Bankhead: Well Mr. Reynolds finally got Erin to tell the truth and she admitted to covering for Angelica.

    Tina: No, I mean did you ask them where did Angelica leave off too?

    Mrs. Bankhead: Of course I did but neither of them knew. They said she stormed off during lunch and that was it.

    Tina sighed.

    Tina: I have to go find her…do you think maybe we can sit down again all three of us?

    Mrs. Bankhead: Absolutely.

This a serious as a long tailed cat in a roomful of rockin’ chairs!..Git’er back home where she belongs cuz heaven to betsy I’s afraid Angelica s gonna get into a heap o trouble cuz she feels her two moms are a separatin’ since Bette’s gone too long.
