    Tina: Thank you…Mrs. Bankhead what exactly does Angelica has to do to make sure she doesn’t get expelled. Mrs. Bankhead: Well main thing is she cant miss anymore days of school, all makeup work has to be completed, and Mr. Reynolds and I are requesting after school detention for the remainder of the school year

    Mrs. Bankhead: Well main thing is she cant miss anymore days of school, all makeup work has to be completed, and Mr. Reynolds and I are requesting after school detention for the remainder of the school year for her disruptions.

    Tina nodded her head in agreement.

    Tina: I will see to it that its get done. Thank you for contacting me.

    Mrs. Bankhead: Oh your welcome… and Mrs. Kennard?

    Tina: Yes.

    Mrs. Bankhead: Angelica is a smart and bright kid, I’m sure whatever that is bothering her will pass soon.

    Tina: It Better.

    Tina got up and walked out of the classroom. It took everything in her to held back her tears, she didn’t want anyone to see her crying. She rode everywhere she could think of looking for Angelica, parks, movies, mall, but had no luck. Tina decided the last place to check was their home but when she arrived and checked every room, again no Angelica.

    Los Angeles…

    Ellen: Thank you Bette Porter for being here.

    Bette: My pleasure Ellen.

    Ellen: Really come back whenever you want to.

    Bette: I will, thank you.

    Back at home…

    Tina sat on the couch in the living area contemplating on whether or not she should call Bette. Was this something she really needed to call Bette for and what could she do to help if she did called her. Bette was on the other side of the world living out her dream but this was their daughter, surely she would want to know right? All of these questions ran through Tina’s mind until she found herself pressing the number one speed dial button.

    Ring. Ring. Ring.

    Voicemail: Hello you reached Bette Porter, sorry I missed your called. Please leave a message after the beep and I will return your call. Thanks.

    Tina: Bette hi its Tina, look I know you’re probably busy doing some interview or filming some movie completing not caring about your family, but Angelica is your daughter too. She’s been fucking up and you need to come home and help me fix the mess that she made so I don’t have to do it alone. Who am I kidding I am alone. A single parent because lets face it, you haven’t been here and gods know how long. You know what I’m sorry I even called you goodbye.
