A week had passed the girls were doing better. They hadn’t returned to School as Bette and Tina and Shane and Carmen had a meeting arranged with the head mistress before hand.

Bette and Tina walked into the school hand in hand as did Carmen and Shane.

“Baby take it easy in here!” Carmen said to Shane before they approached the office.

The principle walked up to the four ladies.

“Hello there im Principle Miranda Newton would you like to follow me to my office” She said leading Bette, Tina, Carmen and Shane to her office.

They all took a seat and the Principle clasped her fingers together and began to speak.

“Firstly I would like to send out my apologies for what happened to the girls. If we had known what was going on then it would have been stopped fast believe you me.” The principle said looking at all four parents.

“I appreciate that Principle Newton but my main concern is what is happening to these girls that severely hurt or girls” Bette asked

“I can assure you serious action was took the girls were all excluded from the school and were told they were very lucky the police weren’t involved”

“Yes they are very lucky that Carmen and I along with Bette and Tina decided not to involve the police” Shane said

“Young girls tend to get a bit out of character they are obviously not use to the gay life style it is abnormal to say the least” The principle said

“Excuse me” Carmen said

“It isn’t normal for two people of the same sex to be together” The principle said

“How dare you…Firstly there is nothing abnormal at all about the gay life style…It is like every other life style out there…Secondly who are you to say that two people of the same sex are abnormal if they love each other” Tina said full of anger.

Bette sat her hand on Tina’s leg.

“Well I was brought up in a catholic family I guess we have different morals and values” The principle said taken back with Tina’s statement.

“I guess we do but I can assure you Principle Newton I will not tolerate my daughter being bullied or made to feel un comfortable because you do not agree or some of your pupils do not agree with our life style” Shane said
