“Tomorrow my love, tomorrow I am yours, and tomorrow you are mine,” Bette and Emery were looking at each other,

“Girls!! Runn!” Melvin yelled, Bette and Emery turned around and saw three men with knives surround Melvin and Maxine, Emery pulled Bette by the hand, and the last Bette saw of her parents were them getting stabbed multiple times, Emery pulled Bette as fast as she could towards the cabin.

Bette had tears running down her face, and the only thing keeping her moving was Emery, they reached the cabin and Emery pulled her inside, back towards the blanket they had made love on earlier that day. Bette was sobbing, it was understandable but those men were sure to come after them next, and they needed to be quiet.

“Bette, sweetie, you have to be quiet. Come here,” Sitting on the blanket, Emery pulled Bette towards her to rest her head on her shoulder,

“They killed them, Emery they killed them!”

“I know just—“ Emery perked up, she heard a noise outside of the cabin,

“Shh, baby please” Emery whispered to Bette, she covered Bette’s mouth with her hand.

“Did you see how much money they had on them! We hit the jackpot Phil!” One of the men outside yelled.

“Shh!!No names you idiot. Those two runts got away from us. They are obviously near.”

“Could they have gone in the cabin?” Emery started getting scared, Bette had become quiet and had clutched to Emery tighter,

“They must have, there’s nothing around here for miles.” The men made their way up the stairs and banged in the door, the girls jumped at this, they made their way back towards the corner.

One of the men made their way through the door to the room the girls were in,

“Well, well, well, look what we have here, Thomas, Rick get it here!” The two men came stomping towards Phil’s voice.

“Stay away from us, we don’t have any money,” Bette firmly spoke, standing up and pulling Emery with her, her body in front of Emery’s.

“Shut the fuck up,” Phil said, “Just letting you know, you were in the wrong place at the wrong time,” Phil walked forward and put all his body weight into it and grabbed Bette, Bette put up a fight, but the man was too strong. One of the other two grabbed Emery and separated the two girls on opposite ends of the room, the knives used to keep them still.
