The next few days passed relatively quickly, Dana fell more in love with Hawaii and decided to search for a job, she ended up taking one as a lifeguard at the local water park, Crystal Falls.  The park was huge, filled with all different slides, the atmosphere in the place was contagious, being filled mainly with tourists who are there to make the most of their holiday and have fun, Dana loved it and was excited to start work. 

Alice had spent the last few days working and revelling in the brief meetings she had with Dana over smoothies after Dana’s morning run.  She yearned to see her more though but didn’t want to put her under too much pressure.  Dana, however, had the perfect idea…

She had three days before she started her lifeguard job and decided to go to Kukui in the hope she could have lunch with Alice.  As she walked into the little beach shack she saw Alice making a coffee behind the bar, no matter how many times she saw this woman her body seemed to react in the same way: butterflies did back flips in her stomach, her heart pounded so hard she swore she felt her ribs move and every inch of her skin wanted to touch her.  She approached Alice from behind, realising the blonde still hadn’t noticed her presence.  Quickly but gently she slipped her hands over Alice’s eyes, “Guess who?” She felt Alice soften into her touch a little, then she whipped round grabbing Dana into a huge hug, “I didn’t think I’d be seeing you again today Miss Dana.”

“Well I couldn’t stay away, I got a job which I don’t start for three days so I was kinda hoping we could have lunch?”  Alice smiled, “Lunch sounds good to me, what’s the job?”  Dana settled down at a table, “I’m gona be a lifeguard, I always thought it’d be a cool little job so I’ll have a go at it for a while, what do you think?” 

Alice’s mouth dropped open as mental images of Dana on the set of Baywatch in a tiny bikini running into the ocean flew through her mind, she physically shook the thoughts away, “Lifeguard… that’s super-hot Dana” Alice bent down and kissed Dana’s forehead, “Give me a few minutes to finish off this coffee then I’ll order us some lunch, ok?” Dana just smiled and watched Alice finish what she was doing.
