It was June the 30th 2007, today was the day that Alice Pieszecki and Dana Fairbanks were to take the big step and be married to each other. Dana had asked Alice to marry her on Christmas day last year. This Friday was the best day of their life as they would become each others wife and make a life long commitment.

Alice lay in bed having the best dream when all of a sudden she was woken abruptly by someone banging on the hotel door and calling her name. Alice opened one eye and looked about the room wondering where she was for a moment.

"Alice gets your ass out of that bed NOW!!" Tina shouted.

"Yeah come on it’s your big day you don’t want to be late now, Do you?" Bette chimed in.

"Ah fuck" was all that Alice shouted out, not to anyone in particular, she turned round to look at the clock on the bedside table 9:15am. "Motherfucker" she said as she jumped out of the bed. Today was the day that Alice and Dana were getting married. They had been planning this for 6 months now and Alice had a schedule to keep to. The ceremony was at 1pm but she still had the hairdressers to go to and the beauticians. Alice had picked her dress with the help of Tina 2 weeks after Dana had asked her to marry her. She glanced over to see it hanging on a rail as she walked over to open the door to let Bette and Tina in.

"At last we thought you had got cold feet and done a runner!!" Bette said.

"Shut up. As if I would ever do that to the woman I love" Alice said that last part so proudly.

"What time do you have the hairdressers at, Al?" asked Tina

"Well I booked us all in at 10am, have Shane and Jenny already left to go over to Dana’s parents’ house?" Alice inquired.

"Yeah, Shane is doing Dana’s hair for her then she is heading back over here, she says to tell you not to worry she will be back in plenty of time…..oh and she also has a surprise for the both of you!" Bette answered.
