"Okay Alice hurry up and get ready to go the hairdressers….we will get a cab so we can have this bottle of champagne while we are there." Tina said pulling a large bottle of champagne from a bag she was carrying. "What……it’s to calm the nerves" she said as she saw Bette looking at her with a cocky smile.

Dana on the other hand had been up from 5am, she was always an earlier riser but she was so nervous about today she was making herself ill. Sharon had heard her moving about and went to see if everything was okay, she found Dana pacing the floor.

"Dana are you okay?" Sharon asked her daughter worried

"Yeah mom, I’m just really nervous, I don’t know why but what if Alice changes her mind and doesn’t want to marry me after all, what if I can’t love her the way she deserves to be loved, what if….." Dana was rambling and was cut off with her mother’s stern voice.

"Now Dana don’t be silly, anyone can see you do love her the way she deserves and the most important thing to me is that she loves you the way you deserve to be loved, I have never told you this before but your Father and I are very proud of you and your brother and to see you happy makes us happy. I admit I always thought I would see you marrying a nice man and settling down and having kids but now I accept that that’s never going to happen and I think you and Alice make a perfect couple……now why don’t you go wake Howie up and the both of you go out for a run…..your friends will be over later won’t they?" Sharon said changing the subject.

"Yes they are coming aver at 9am" and with that Dana went to wake Howie up to go for a morning run with her.

Alice, Bette and Tina were all sitting in the Hair and Beauty salon with their second glass of champagne each. Alice was getting her hair trimmed and put in ringlets and pinned up at the sides and the tiara placed on. She had the base of her make up put on and was just to get the finishing touches once her hair was done. The girls had all had there manicures and pedicures and so on the night before at the hotel. Shane, Carmen, Jenny, Bette and Tina were all staying at the hotel, while Dana went home the night before the wedding to stay with her parents. It was Sharon’s wish that Dana stayed there the night and did not see the bride before the wedding. Alice was shocked at this, she always thought that Sharon did not approve of her and Dana’s relationship……she wasn’t so sure now as she was going out of her way to do a lot of things since Dana had announced the news.
