Chapter 50 – My Date, My Night
Tina was rushing around trying to put the finishing touches on her ensemble before she was out the door to pick up Bette for their date. Tina was nervous but excited to be going out with Bette. She wanted to take that next step in connecting with Bette again and felt that a date was the perfect way to not be sided tracked. While she wasnt sure how this would turn out tonight she was just going to play it by ear as how the evening flowed. Tina stopped applying her mascara a moment as she thought again about how far she was prepared to take it tonight. From her side of the fence Tina knew that she still had that deep craving for the feel of Bette. It was more than just a physical need. It was more of a place she wanted to re-visit. Like a wonderful dream that upon thinking about later you just want to re-live the dream again. This is how she felt about being intimate with Bette. She wanted to have that dream again.
Pulling herself out of her thoughts she quickly finished up the makeup and gave herself one more look in the mirror. Tina chose to wear a red dress that was three quarters in length but had a slit that come up the side which showed plenty of leg. The dress had spaghetti straps the revealed plenty of shoulder and cleavage. Looking at herself Tina had to laugh, she hadnt wanted to wear anything nearly this ***** since Annas birth but tonight she wanted to look ***** and hot. With that intention when she saw this dress on the rack it just stood out and said perfect.
Coming out of the bedroom, Tina went directly to Annas room to check on her. Irene was just getting her ready for her bath. Hey Im off. You know my cell and dont hesitate to call me. Tina says as she checks with Irene.
WOW Irene says as she turns with Anna in her arms. Look Anna your Mum is such a FOX. Irene says as she is staring at Tina.

I hope that Tina recognises Bette’s insecurities as her fear of losing what she has (again). I hope Tina embraces them reather than pushes Bette away because of them. Tina needs to build Bette’s confidence again. I hope she hadn’t been there with Helena !
I’ve said many times I’m just so intimidated by a 50 chapter story…but I’m trying to make the time to back track and catch up. It’s great when I read it, I just have a problem reading it all…I wish I had more time…great job. You make me want to quit my job, give up swimming and park myself in front of the computer and read fan fiction…

Do you remeber the guy saying hello Ms Porter and Ms Kennard when they got to the restaurant? How the hell did he know Bette’s name? I think Tina called ahead or went to the restaurant earlier in the week to plan it out. Tina would not be that cruel to take Bette to a romantic place like that if she had been there with Helena before. I don’t think Bette is in the wrong for asking that question. I would have asked it too.
I can see Tina and Bette on their date (I just wish it would be this beautiful next season). You painted a very pretty and comfortable picture of them.
I think Akshay may be right, Tina planned this special date with Bette in mind and have never been there with Helena. (Of course, it could be wishful thinking on my part).
Can’t wait for the next 10-20 chapters~!

Please don’t let Bette, muck this up with her jealousy and insecurity over Helena. Forget the past , live for the future, cause you can’t undo what’s been done, and if they love each other, that’s all that really matters.Great Chapter Jwet.

What a way to end this beautiful moment.
Is this a little bump on the road or a massive crater? If Tina has been there before, who accompanied her? A date or a business meeting? How will Tina react to this line of questioning from Bette? Has Bette been a secret CIA agent all this time? Will Bette’s alpha side knock down all the rebuilding work that has brought them so far? Will Alice jump out of the bushes and say “You’re on Candid Camera� How the rest of the gals a pool on how long before Bette and Tina get it on again?
I am positive that some of these questions may be answered some time soon.
I loved the way that you showed the nervousness and anticipation that both Bette and Tina felt. The naturalness of their insecurity about what to wear. What message their clothes would give to one another: a promise, a desire, an intent of a brush off. Brilliantly realised and executed by your style and flair for language.
Irene commenting on Tina’s Foxiness was fabulous and her encouragement to stay out late was a great nod to all the readers’ desperation at getting these two back to their relationship.
Have my fingers crossed that this will be a storm in a teacup and not a full blown, force five, finger of God hurricane.

Ok so I called off the FBI. I told them that J had come home. Wow you know how you don’t realize you need something untill it’s gone well, your story is like that. But enough with that, my mind was taking off of the story when I was front row at the alicia keys concert last night. Awesome!! I had a slight run in with her 500LB body gruad that left me on the ground, and because she felt sorry I got to go back stage. And when I say run in I mean run in, cause the doors were about to close and well I didn’t know they would be coming around the corner. Well it was like running full speed into a wall. So anyways, I hope she had dinner with Grace or someone that has to do with work, but if you want to bring Helena back into the story go ahead. I will look forward to seeing your story before I go to work.

Hello, Jwet. I am guilty for being MIA. I am all caught now and I am certainly enthrawled with and how we will see this play out. Excellent job. I am looking forward to the next chapter. I want to say thank-you for your gracious comment on my new story. I draw from my own life experiences and incorporate them into my stories. I am surprised that no one else has posed a question regarding what I bring into the my stories. I would love to prepare a meal for you. I learned how to cook from my great-grandmother, grandmother and mother. I was a tradition in our home for the ladies to gather our the kitchen an cook and teach.
