Bette sits down in one of the comfortable chairs where they can keep a good eye on the kids, who are not eating much but are having their attention to some kids channel. Their cheeks are red and they look sleepy, for sure they will sleep soon. “I don’t normally let Angie eat and watch TV at the same time.” Bette resumes the conversation. “I know, me neither but hey it is holiday and this way they sleep quickly. I can see the jetlag is kicking in now.” Tina replies with her eyes on the kids. “Yes, I was expecting that. I am actually surprised that Sam is still able to watch TV, even I feel tired so he must feel it much more.” Bette responds also with her eyes on the kids. “ Oh he turns into a TV junkie when he spends time at Henry’s place. They don’t do a lot with him so he spends his time with watching TV, but he doesn’t spend much time over there lately so I got him off that habit.” Tina explains and while she talks Bette looks over to her to observe her face while she raises her eyebrows in disbelief, Tina tries to speak in a light way but Bette detects an undertone with sorrow. Tina turns her face to Bette with a disappointed look on her face, raising her eyebrows in return. “I didn’t know that this was the situation between you two, or three.” Bette replies softly and a bit pitiful. Tina puts her hands in her neck and rubs it, a sign of insecurity and frustration as she smiles irked to Bette. Bette doesn’t want to confront Tina more but inside she is very curious about this situation, so to help Tina getting herself back, she stands up and walks over to the kids to take the plates away.
“How was it, nice?” She asks while she cleans the small faces and hands with a serviette. “Not as nice as at home but it was ok.” Angie replies. Sam doesn’t respond, he yawns with his mouth wide open, a sign that he completely exhausted.” Sam, shall we to go to bed?” Bette asks him as she strokes his soft blond hair. “I don’t want to go to bed with you, I want to go to bed with Angie.” He replies with a sleepy voice. Bette smiles at him tenderly. He is funny and cunning for his young age. “ Sure, little man, that can be arranged, Angie, it is time to go to bed for you too. It has been a long day, tomorrow we will have more fun. Let’s go.” Bette says to Angie while Tina is getting up from her seat. “Come on, Sam.” Tina says as she picks up her son from the sofa, Bette does the same with Angie and together they walk over to the bedroom. The bedroom has only one bed but it has a slide out bed under it, this is where Tina puts down Sam and tucks him in with a doll of Spartacus, his favorite sleeping item. Angie climbs into the bigger bed, puts her sheet over herself, the difference in age is very noticeable. Bette bends over to her “ Sweet dreams, sweety.” And gives her a soft kiss on her forehead. She looks over to Tina down the side of the bed. Tina is sort of lying on the bed next to Sam with her head leaning on her hand and her elbow on the mattress, her other hand is stroking Sam´s hair softly and tenderly. Angie puts her lips near Bette´s ear “Mommy does that sometimes to make Sammy sleep quicker.” She whispers in her ear. Bette smiles tenderly to Angie as an answer. Then she hears a knock on the door, must be room service. “ Good night Angie, mommy B. & T. are not far so if you wake up just call,ok?” She says as she gets up to go and answer the door. “ Ok mommy.” Angie replies as she lies back on the pillow. Tina looks up to Bette, Bette signals her that she will go to the door.

i so luv this story can’t wait to see what happens next, luv the way you write!!!
This is a great story. They are both hiding so much from each other right now. I want to see how you work through how uncomfortable they both are. Thanks for posting!
I love this story…I can feel B&T awkwardness to each other as they havent really been in friendship terms…. Their situation is very uncomfortable and painful for Bette because of she loose T. Then Angie and Sam are both missing the presence of one of their parent in their life early age, although, Angie get to see T bi-coastally, Its still difficult for a young age to be separated from one parent for months….Please continue writing and Thanks for posting.
Now that Tina is no longer living with rockhead, it is high time the two of them talked and stop hiding their feelings for each other. They don’t have to do that anymore.
I am so glad that you are writing again. I have always enjoyed reading them. It looks like Tina could really use a friend right now.
Oh this is such an amazing fic! You writing is beautiful! PPS!!!
This situation is very awkward and uncomfortable for them but hope they talk more and open up to each other. Please post more, thanks!
Hello Bonaire Gal, Great to have you back and posting a wonderful, interesting new adventure. I love the gentle and timid manner Bette and Tina are treating each other. There is so much love and hurt between them. I do believe there is a way back to their loving days. This holiday is the first step and opening up truthfully about their current situations is the second. These gals belong toghether so now need to trust them emotions and see where they take them. I cna’t wait to read more so please make it soon. Many thanks from Your Loyal Fan.
Oh Wow! Great update. Hope they can talk about what each is feeling. Thank you :)
Love the story and the way you are developing their relationship. It’s nice to see the bond between Bette and Sam and how the four of them make such a sweet family. Look forward to the rest of their holiday and hope Tina and Bette continue to open up to each other.
i dont have much time to comment, but i still wanted to say that youre doing a great job! Pps
Very very emotional. Poor Sam, may be it is for the best (Henry out of his life. Bette and Tina would have to face teir situation, be honest with their feelings for each other and give stability to the children. Looking forward to the holiday and the reconnection between Bette and Tina and also the children. Great story. PPVS
