“Why was Jenny different,” Shane’s inner voice asked her.
“Because she’s my best friend, someone who has stood by me no matter what I’ve done,” Shane answered back.
“Uh huh,” the voice in her mind shot back at her, sounding eerily like Carmen for some reason.
The front door opened with a bang and Shane shot out of her chair and rushed to the front door, only to be welcomed by the sight of Nikki. “I can’t find her. I need to find her. What was I thinking?” asked Nikki in a pained voice.
Shane looked down, looking like a wounded puppy, “She’s not here.”
“Where would she have gone?” asked Nikki, her hands in the air, almost yelling out the question of the night.

“What are you doing here?” Adele asked her early morning visitor. The door bell had run and Adele had been sure she had been dreaming, until someone had begun knocking politely on the door.
“I came to bury the hatchet,” said Jenny. “And ask a favor of you.”
Adele’s now sculpted eyebrow shot up, she stepped back and waved Jenny into the apartment. “I hope you are not planning on burying the hatchet in my back.”
“Congratulations on the picture deal,” said Jenny, almost making Adele believe her, almost. Jenny didn’t address the hatchet statement, it was too good of an opportunity to fight with Adele, instead, Jenny wanted her as an ally. Not as an enemy.
“Thank you,” said Adele, her tone careful. This was, after all, the woman she’d admired and then wanted to become. “So what can I do for you?” Adele crossed her arms carefully over her chest.
“I want you to release that tape,” said Jenny, turning on her heels and looking at Adele. Jenny commanded the room, whether there was just Adele or a room full of Hollywood big wigs, Jenny was in total command of the room, and of her emotions. For the first time in a long time, Jenny was standing strong against all that had been thrown at her.
“Why? It could ruin…,” began Adele. “My movie.”

I am so confused. I’ve looked behind the doors, under the sofa cushions, in the closets and under the bed and not a vampire or super power in sight. Unless Adele is going to give Jenny eternal life by biting her neck!!!!! I really liked this and hope for a lot more. Even if it is going to be a regular narative, I know you will make it great.
JR I am scared because there is no trace of the supernatural. Could this be a happy ending for Tibette?Will there be any sex?You know me.

Great chapter JR. You seem to have all the bases covered. Alice and Tasha, Shane, Nikki and Jenny….. and even Adele. Hopefully that slimebag will do something to help Jenny, since she was so horrible in the show. Bette and Tina off for a romantic getaway (Is this you paying off your bet?) And Kit, Helena and lover Cindy. I am looking forward to futher installments.
