How to lose a girl in ten days-2

“Oh my god!!” Jenny said. “Who are they from??” She walked to the flowers and saw a card. “Wait.” She told the guy, she took the card from the first bouquet. “Hundred times” She read, going to the other one, “More beautiful” She read it too, “Then hundred roses.” Jenny finished dreamily. “God that’s so sweet!” she told Tina.

    “Catchy” Dana said.

“She works at advertising. She can’t help herself.” Tina said, still smiling.

“So, does that means she’s hooked?” Dana asked.

“That means she found the Knicks tickets!” Tina laughed.

“You left the tickets in your purse?”  Jenny asked shocked.

    “Yep” Tina answered pleased.

“You are on a whole different playing field.” Jenny said impressed.

Tina’s phone rang, “Tina Kennard.” She answered.

“Well hello there gorgeous” Bette purred.

    “Guess what?” Tina asked Bette.

“What?” Bette asked smiling. Tina was on speaker and Bette was sitting in her office with Shane and Alice listening.

“I got a really embarrassing display of flowers.” Tina said dryly.

    “Well you’re welcome.” Bette answered.

“Listen, I had a lovely time last night” Tina started.

“I’ve got your bag.” Bette interrupted.

“Ah, I know” Tina said coyly. “I can’t believe I left it there.”

“Well you must need it back with all the cash, credit cards and Knicks ticket.” Bette said smoothly.

“Sounds like you’ve been snipping through my bag Bette.” Tina said looking at Dana and Jenny.

“Me? God no… Alice, my art director was accidentally left alone with the bag and she has sticky fingers.” Bette explained. Looking at Alice pointedly.

“Oh, yes! Sorry Tina, but I just had to look by the way I’m confiscating the Dior’s lipstick.” Alice said.

“No you’re not!” Tina heard Bette gritted through her teeth.

“Oh come on you get to go to your precious game and I get nothing?” Alice groaned.

“I swear to god Alice if you don’t shut up you won’t have lips to put the lipstick on!” Bette threaten.

“Does that mean I can take the lipstick?” Alice asked getting excited.

“NO!” Both Bette and Shane answered.

Tina chuckled at the banter. She had to admit Bette was really cute. Too bad she’ll be running for her life soon. “Alright. I’m going to the game.” Tina said pausing for affect. “With someone else.” She finished.

    3. Funny as hell, but may I make one small suggestion? A little proofreading goes a long way. There’s a huge difference between a small Coke and a small cock. ;)
