"I’m okay. Getting settled, and adjusted once again."
"Well, welcome back to the neighborhood. We have missed you."
Tina looked at Shane, trying to read into her words any hidden meaning about her temporary lack of lesbianism so to speak. Knowing Shane, she figured what Shane said was what she meant, so she thanked her and asked to stay for awhile.
"Well baby Sis, you are quite pensive today. You need to talk? Get it off your chest?"
Bette looked down at her sleeping daughter, nestled in her arms. The love she felt for her was overwhelming. Yet she was so sad at the same time.
"Yeah, I do. I just can’t seem to make sense of anything anymore Kit."
"Like what?"
"Like my life, my feelings, my thoughts. Everything is so jumbled. Mixed up. I can’t seem to see anything singular any longer. It all appears to be one large tangle of , of stuff. Nothing makes sense. One day I wake up and feel strong and able to take on the world. I have my wits about me, and there isn’t anything I don’t think I can do. Then it seems in a matter of mere minutes, I am so desolate, and lonely and missing her that I can’t seem to take a breath without effort."
"But Bette, it’s all okay now. Your daughter is back in your life now, permanently. You have nothing to be afraid of."
"Not Angelica Kit. I’m talking about Tina."
"So Tina, you never answered my question earlier. How did you happen to buy this house?"
"Can you pass me that box Shane? Thanks."
Tina cut open the box Shane handed her and started taking out the pictures of Angelica, and her and Bette and family pictures. Looking at them she began to tell Shane about her need to have this house and her journey away from the life she thought she needed, but soon realized was a farce.
"So when I saw the sign on the front lawn, I knew I had to buy this house. I couldn’t let a stranger have my memories. I couldn’t let someone else breathe in Bette’s smell when they walked in here. I couldn’t let her go. After everything I did to her, and her to me, I realized that she was and is my everything. Everything I ever wanted, and everything I ever needed. She is everything I never knew I needed and wanted. Now the only part of all of that I have left is my memories of what we had, and the home we used to share together. But at least I have that."

Short but it was to the point. They love each other and cant stand being apart so they need to talk through everything so that they can have their forever for real this time. Thanks, PPS.

Short, but wonderfully frustrating… Someone needs to say something and spill the beans… like Shane.

Well it’s good to know Bette still loves and misses Tina…now if we can get them in the same room and they actually express their feelings that would be great…If they do work it out Bette has to get over or deal with the reasons why she sold the house in the first place before she can consider coming home. More please.
