    A night out, or a night in?

    Tina wiped away the tears forming again as heart slowly continued to break.

    "Tina, I think you should take the next few days off and try to figure out what you want to do. We can’t expect you to focus here when your thoughts and feelings are so challenged right now. Maybe you should try to contact Bette. I mean after reading that letter, Hell I want to see if she is alright myself. You must want to talk to her, right?"

    "I did try. She had the phone at the house disconnected."

    "So did you try her cell phone, or go by the and see her?"

    "I didn’t try her cell phone, I guess I was too chicken, and I didn’t try to see her after I saw the house was up for sale."

    "Well again pardon me for butting in , but I think you need to talk to Bette in order to make any kind of reasonable decisions, don’t you?"

    "I know you are right, Im just so afraid that I have hurt any chance with Bette forever."

    "Tina, you really need to stop this pity party you are hosting for yourself and go after whatever it is you figure out you want. But be very sure, whatever it is you pursue, that it is what you want for life. Don’t play with her Tina, she deserves better, and so do you."

     

    Bette arrived at the club and made her way to the bar. Ordering herself an Absolute Martini, she watched the crowd of women. Some danced, some talked, and some played pool. It was like a lot of the lesbian bars Bette had been to over the years, yet this time felt very different. This time there wasn’t a beautiful, confident, cocky young woman out for a night of passionate sex. This time there was a beautiful, smart, unsure mature woman who wasn’t sure she was ready to join the scene again. She was scared of all these beautiful girls who all seemed to live life one moment at a time. Not like herself who at her age needed to plan everything to death just to feel secure.

    As she pondered these thoughts another Martini was placed in front of her. Bette was about to protest when a gorgeous, raven haired woman placed her hand on Bette’s arm and leaned into her to whisper.

    1. Petra sure seemed lively for an abandoned ancient city carved out of a cliff face. But if Bette is taking her back to her room she must be beautiful, not unlike the city. Here’s hoping Bette doesn’t find a lot of sand stuck in her crevices. And Tina? Well, yeah, she needs to figure a bunch of shit out.

    3. I just loved that flirty sassy Bette. The alpha woman reigns supreme. Just like riding a freakin’ bike, oh, yeah, Bette. Tina sounds so whiney, hand-wringing, wishy-washy. Not attractive traits. Great story.

    4. lol…funnyone you are crazy! I really think Bette needs this…get back her self esteem and have a little fun…she has been crying and down trodden for far too long. I hope Petra can hang…cause it’s been far too long for Bette…Will Tina find out Bette is in NYC and come talk to her? She better bring her A game if she does. And she better be sure this is what she wants.

    5. Oh my, this is very intriguing, not to mention well written. :) Very snappy and suggestive dialogue. Your flowed really well between Bette and Petra, leaving just enough to the imagination. I suspect they’ll both have a night they won’t soon forget. And hopefully we will too, if only vicariously. LOL

    6. I agree with azmama, I love the sassy, flirty Bette. Petra must be very attractive for Bette to accept her advances, otherwise I think she would have thrown the drink in her face! lol!

    7. Alright, Bette! You go girl! Enjoy yourself, cuz I have to agree with Seahurst… there has gotta be some drama for ya mama! I am happy to see my favorite Alpha in action. Now, I just have one request…Well… errr…uhhhhm…. can I stand in for Petra for the rest of the night? *grinning from ear to ear* I love this update and I am SO feeling Bette! Don’t worry, Bette. I’ve got your back. You’re my girl always and forever…no matter what! As for Tina, stay the hell away from Bette until you know what the frick-n-frack (*laughing* I say that instead of f*ck. I have a mini me running around the house repeating things she’s heard mommy say)you want!

    13. Is it wrong that I’m SO excited to see Predator Porter again? So hot… know I wouldn’t mind being preyed on… I mean, I know, I know… I’m cheering for a happy TiBette ending, too, but I can’t help but be really pleased with this side of Bette. Alpha at its finest, ladies and… ladies. Fabulous.

    19. Someone mentioned the suggestive dialogue. I agree, and while Bette and the twink dancing was pretty hot (the sex was just asi-asi) in ep. 204, the scene you gave us was much better. Bette didn’t need to be drunk and she didn’t need to start off in the lead to get the girl. Yet toward the end she turned the tables stone cold sober and got what sounded to me like a beautiful mature woman instead of some random kid. *pause* I say go for it. Bette needs a good lay.
