I’ll Find My Way Back To You Chapter 5
There’s a silence in the air tonight.
There’s a secret we can’t hide behind,
No more.
She let her tears flow down, tired of holding them back. As she laid back and let Jodie do what she wanted with her body, she just cried. Cried for the demise of their relationship, whatever there was of it, cried for the destruction of the façade that she had created, the world where all was right with her and Jodie and where she believed she could live happily ever after with Jodie.
Baby you’re lying, lying.
I see the truth you’re hiding, hiding.
I look at you and I, I, just died in your eyes, eyes.
Before I start crying, crying
Give me a reason for trying, trying.
The one thing that keeps me alive, I, just died in your eyes, eyes.
Just died in your eyes, eyes.
Just died in your eyes.
3 am.
Bette rolled out of bed. Jodie was dead to the world already, having exhausted herself with trying to get Bette to stay. After Bette faked a climax, Jodie had fallen asleep feeling satisfied that Bette would at least give her one more chance.
Bette gathered up her personal belongings, the more expensive and important stuff, her work things and packed as much as she could into a suitcase. She had called for a taxi to bring her to the airport.
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh.
Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh.
While on the way to the airport, she flicked through the photos of Jodie and herself on her phone. And there it was – evidence. At the beginning of their relationship, Jodie had looked at her with lust, which was mutual to be honest. Towards the middle of their relationship, when she had gone to New York to get Jodie back, the look on Jodie’s face when she had seen Bette, that, yes that was love. But it was fleeting, less than 2 weeks later; the look of lust was back, stronger than ever.
I, I, just died in your eyes, eyes.
“How may I help you ma’am?”
“I want the very first 1st Class ticket to LA that you can give me please.”
“Very well, your flight is in 2 hours time.”
Bette sank into the seats in the 1st Class Passenger Lounge, sighing.
She signaled to the man behind the bar “Could I have a scotch neat please?”
She gulped down the drink, feeling the burn. Anything to distract herself.
Yes that would do for at least the first few days. She would go back to LA quietly, go out and party away her troubles. Before she had to face everything and everyone. Especially the one she both desired and dreaded – Tina.

Drop her, Bette. She’s not worth it. Go back to Tina. She’ll always be the one for you. Thanks for posting. :)

Right choice Bette.

Excellent. While reading this update I could actually see it all in my mind. Thank you so much for getting rid of Jodi. I can’t wait to see what happens in LA with Tina. Wonderful wonderful. Didn’t disappoint at all. Thank you Tigger!

Right decision Bette.PPS
Thanks Tigger. Bette has done the right thing, it just should have been earlier. jodi is such a pig, I most sincerely hope this is the last we hear of her. Now Bette’s work really begins, to try and get Tina back. Here’s hoping!! Thanks for posting. I am a mother too Tigger, been there, done that. If your mother knows how to check the computer to see if you’ve been on it, you are in deep doggie do. Please don’t learn to lie to your mother, you just might live to regret it. Nothing and no one is worth that. Have a great week.
Poor Bette and Tina, now let them meet and be with each other !
