She tore her eyes away from Tina and looked at her watch. It was 4 o’clock already.

‘Wow the time, I cant believe it. It flies by when your having fun. Always the case huh?’

‘Yea, should we start walking back’ Tina replied.

‘Yea, we can take a slow walk back up.’

They got up and started heading back the way they came, fingers entwined.

It was some 45 minutes later that they arrived at the hotel. When they went in they found everyone laughing and joking in the living room.

‘Well well well, we were about to send a search party. Id ask if everything’s alright but I can tell everything obviously is.’

‘Hey everyone, we’ve had the most amazing afternoon, haven’t we babe?’

Bette nodded her head in approval.

‘It is a fantastic site out there. Tina was talking about coming back here one day with her painting equipment. The scenery is fascinating.’

‘It really is’ explained Tina.

‘Anyway’ she continued ‘what have you guys been up to?’

‘Well most of the day we relaxed in the garden out back’ Kit told them.

‘There’s a pool out there but its in dire need of a service. The sun beds were usable though.’

As they walked further into the room, Tina looked at Shane

‘Ouch Shane that looks painful.’

‘Yea I fell asleep on the sun bed, woke up and could smell burning. Turns out it was my face…’

‘You’ll be paying for that later.’

‘I know, mom’ she replied.

Tina made a funny face at her for that comment. ‘Well I was going to say we had some after sun cream but if you’re going to be like that….’

‘Well maybe I love ya’ Shane said, winking at her.

Just then Giles entered the room.

‘Good afternoon everyone. I saw the 2 of you approaching the house’ he said nodding towards Bette and Tina. ‘I thought maybe you would like to know that dinner will be ready in 15 minutes.’

‘Oh excellent’ everyone replied, getting up onto their feet.

‘Come on, lets go freshen up’

They all left the room and headed upstairs. Before going to the room, Bette and Tina rang to say goodnight to Angie, who was beyond tired from all the fun she’d had.
