MONDAY – 9:00AM

Through the window, slivers of light are filtering through the morning fog and onto Tina’s sleeping face.  She blinks hoping it will the move the sunrays out of her eyes.  Tina lifts her head up and squints and then looks over at her sleeping Love Muffin adoringly.  Bette is exhausted; she’s in a deep sleep.  Tina looks at the alarm clock on the nightstand and decides it’s time to get up.  Tina says thinking to herself, “I’m going to let Bette sleep a few more hours.  We have a big day ahead of us.  Kit is coming over at 2:00PM to introduce us to her new main squeeze, Angus Partridge.  Kit says he has the cutest bootie!  Everyone else should be arriving around 3:00ish.  I’ve still have to make some appetizers.  Bette has to make the Sangria, and a couple pitchers of iced tea.”

It’s 11:00AM and Bette has not moved a muscle.  Tina sits on the edge of the bed looking down at Bette.  As she’s pushing the hair out of Bette’s face she calls, “Baby, it’s time to wake up.   Bette it’s 11:00AM Honey.”  Bette stirs and then turns her back to Tina like a petulant child.   Tina continues. “Babe you have to wake up.”  Bette says, “I don’t want to get up, leave me alone, I’m sleepy.”  Tina goes around the bed and gets in.  She lays down facing Bette.  “Babe, you have to get up and take your shower and have some breakfast.  Then you can go back to bed and sleep until the gang arrives Okay?” Tina kisses Bette on the lips.  Bette says whining, “Why do I have do everything now?  Let me sleep.”  Tina replies.  “Bette get up please.  I don’t want you to have to rush when everyone arrives.  This way you can say hello, and if your still tired you can go back to bed.  Bette this what I was talking about; how you show respect. ’” Bette whines again with her eyes still closed, “Tee you’re making me feel guilty.”  Tina placates, “Baby go take your shower and have some oatmeal.  When you’re finished, I’ll give you a massage to put you to sleep.”  Bette perks up and says, “Really a massage?  A real one not a sex one?”  Tina’s laughing, “Bette you are in no shape for anything but a real massage!”  Bette says, “Tina that wasn’t very nice!  It’s your fault; you’re so darn cute and sexy I can’t get enough of you!  Okay Baby, I’m only doing this because you asked me nicely.”  Tina gives Bette a sweet ‘Thank You’ kiss, and goes back around the bed and gives Bette a robe and a pair of her (Tina’s) slippers.  Tina drags Bette out of bed and off to the shower.  Meanwhile Tina changes the bedding.
