CHAPTER EIGHTEEN: Eyes On Me

"Well, will you look at that.." Alice nudged Shane as she looked at Bette and Tina. She had been flirting with the newest Calvin Klein underwear model by the bar when she chanced upon the two slow dancing in the near distance.

"What?" Shane answered distractedly as her current flavor of the week demanded her full attention. She pried herself from the arms of her busty brunette and looked at Alice beside her.

"There.." Alice inclined her head towards the dance floor.

Seeing the dancing pair, Shane smiled and nodded her head in approval. "Nice one Bette." She congratulated her friend for a job well done. She shared a grin with Alice before turning back to her girlfriend, resuming their flirtatious exchange.

"That’s it?" Alice raised an eyebrow at Shane. "Aren’t you interested in watching them some more?" She prodded her friend.

"Nope." Shane shook her head and proceeded to pull her girlfriend closer to her. "Leave them alone Al. It’s bad enough that everyone else in this room is looking at them.." She mumbled, alluding to the curious stares that Bette and Tina were receiving from just about everyone in the party.

Alice finally noticed what Shane was talking about and frowned. "Why these nosy bitches.." She exclaimed angrily. Judging from their faces and body language, she could tell that they were talking smack about Tina.

Shane laughed at the blonde’s reaction. What was that saying about the pot calling the kettle black? She thought as Alice glared at just about everyone feasting on Bette and Tina. "Seeing yourself Al?" Shane smirked.

"Shut up." Alice snapped back. Feeling greatly agitated, she called the attention of the nearest irritating voyeur and motioned for the girl to come near. "Janice Mitchell right?" She asked, recognizing the teen as the daughter of one her father’s subordinates. She smiled when the girl nodded her head in the affirmative. "Do you know how to play pass the message? Alice asked.

"Umm.. yes.." Janice answered slowly, somewhat puzzled. It was her first time to talk to the famous Alice Pieszecki of F4 and it kinda rattled her that the blonde was asking her about a stupid little game. "Why do you ask?" She followed up.
