“I love this time of the evening…” Tina whispered as she linked her fingers with Bette’s.
“Me too…”
“I feel like it’s a calming time…, almost a time when you’ve had a bad day and it’s an escape.”
Bette smiled, it seemed that the more time they spent together sharing time and just ‘moments’ within their life the more they so obviously had in common.
Bette pushed her body back into the lounger, moving slightly as the comfortable feeling washed over her. She brought her arms around Tina as she too shifted slightly, the slight movements making an even more comfortable position.
“I do all my thinking out here…” Bette shared.
“Good thinking or bad thinking?”
Bette laughed, “both…”
“Work or personal?”
Bette laughed again, “both again…”
“Does it always help?”
“Yeah mostly…, I feel like it’s an escape place too, bad days at work…, come out here with a glass of wine and the stars and it suddenly doesn’t feel like such a bad day after all.”
“Do you ever share this time out here?” Tina asked, not in the sense of prying, but it just sounded…, lonely…
“I think my time here is my own time…, I don’t like sharing that…”
“Does that mean I should leave now?” Tina asked with a slight hesitation, knowing that Bette didn’t mean her personally, but just wanting to hear her say something about their relationship. She had never been one for fishing for compliments, but in that moment, she wanted to know that this was different for Bette, she was different for Bette.
“Is that what you think?”
“I just…, no…, its…”
“Tina…, when I say this is my own time, its because there isn’t anyone I want to share it with…”
“No one…?” Tina asked with a slight smirk.
“Are you teasing me?” Bette asked as Tina slowly turned, almost laying along the length of Bette’s body as she stretched out.
“I don’t tease babe…”
“Are you sure about that?”
“Tell me…” Tina said in a low seductive tone, suddenly feeling that she wanted to be closer to Bette, wanted more than just lying between her legs looking at the stars. She wanted Bette to be open about them, she wanted to show her that sharing this time is what it was all about.

Thanks for posting Ms.Jo and I’m so happy to know that I was not the only one that was P0’ed by all the interruptions and the lightin that ws right in the eye of the camera during their dance, it was just awful. It seemed deliberate to me. After all they are the stars of the show. And IC showed all of jodi’s dance as well as all of jenny, the two no one wanted to see. Rant over. When I went to youtube to look for your video it said that the video was no longer available, will try again. Loved the update.
Dearest sweet Jo, this was an amazing update. It is good to see that Bette is opening herself to Tina and that both are bonding with each other even further. It is very symbolic that Tina will make Bette think of her house as a home. New memories are needed, so Bette might overcome her pain of losing Lilly. Thanks for sharing such a lovely story with us. Yeah, I was pretty ticked about the dance sequence. ic seemed to have shown a lot of disrespect for Jennifer, Laurel and the rest of the gang not to mention the fans. At least in your story we have a couple that is deeply in love with each other.

Love, love, love this story. Anything you write Jobadge is brilliant, but this story is so sweet & tender, it jus melts my heart. I was also annoyed by all the interruptions & the lighting during B & T’s dance number. The video tibetter2008 made is AWESOME & so much better than Ep 7’s version! PS.
