Lenore Pieszecki continues to beg Alice and Dana for money in indirect ways, but has been unlucky. She has recently informed them that she is in the running for a part in a new Sam Raimi film.
The Fairbankses dote on their grandson, Addison. Howie is a regular babysitter to his nephew and Howie’s new boyfriend often joins him in the Hollywood Hills for barbecues with his sister and sister-in-law. Irwin and Sharon have accepted Howie’s sexuality completely and are active in a PFLAG in Irvine, California.

Notes:
Season 1, Episode 3—Peggy tells Bette about her assistant, Jose “I told him, "Go! Be in love! Take the night, show her the sea." I think people in love should see the sea.” (Peggy, Marilyn, Helena and Dylan at the Malibu house on the deck looking out at the ocean.”)
Season 1, Episode 3—Bette tells Tina that she’s going to meet with Gina Ferrara the curator of the Peggy Peabody Collection, thus the decision-maker about “Provocations.” Ferrara happens to be the woman she had a run in with years ago because they both wanted the artist Megan Friedman and Bette ended up bedding her.
Season 2, Episode 4—When Helena first meets Bette, she tells her that she might not be giving as much to the arts; her interests are social justice including a women’s and children shelter created from an old hotel in Boston. (Helena tells her mother that she successfully handed out Peabody Foundation funding)
Season 4, Episode 2—Tina tells Aaron (the executive at Shaolin) that she has “Twisted Forest” and it’s a done deal. (Helena and Tina talk about producing “Twisted Forest.”)
Season 6, Episode 7—Tina tells Bette that she received a job offer in New York with Focus Features. (Helena and Dylan name their film studio Focus Features)
Season 6, Episode 8—Bette tells Kit that she’s sick of LA’s lesbian community and is ready to get away; Bette tells Tina that their friends will understand and be happy for them if they leave for New York; after Bette and Tina make love, Bette only wants to kiss Tina; Jenny Schecter ends up in the pool and Bette pulls her out.

Portia, thank you so much for this epic love story. I’m happy that all of the characters are happy and content. The loop holes that the show had created, you have thoroughly patched. That for me is remarkable. Jenny’s death in season 5 and her magazine being thrown in the pool – what can I say, your attention to detail is a gold standard in fanfic. Kudos to you and also Wendy for creating this wonderful story.

I read this chapter as slowly as I could so that I could savor every word of it. It was worth me taking the time, although I was fully aware that each time I clicked “Next page” I was that much closer to the finish. This was a fantastic end to such a richly layered story. Everyone got their ending, and each and every one of them earned it… the struggles each couple/family had to overcome to get to their happiness made it all the more believable. You didn’t cheat, Portia, not the readers, not the story. This has been such an absolute treat to read, through all the highs and lows, and I’ve loved every single word of it. (And kudos for not forgetting Jenny this chapter! heh) Thank you, Portia, for writing this story and taking us on the journey with you. Take care, and I hope we see another story from you soon.

well after about a month and a half im finally finish with your story and as I wrote you before I truly believe you are a gift to writing and taking readers along for the experience. I had to stop several times for work or sleep but it was well worth the time. I prolonged finishing the last chapter didn’t want t see it end, but like the L word, like tibette chemistry, all good things but come to end….Bravo!! my friend I hope to see a book with your name on it forreal..til next story………
