    Angelica Kenter narrates – Mark comes home – Bette meets the creative director of Tina’s new project – Sabrina has an unexpected Knight in shining armor – Helena gets a blow – Dana is dramatic and Lara tries to change her mind –

     

                Di brought someone back with her to Italy, in order to keep Marina on a tight leash.  Yeah, she brought Jenny to Italy, to the Villa, to recuperate.  Jenny in Italy, can you see it, holed up in the same room that Marina was held in…?  Jenny isn’t back yet, Marina is learning the illegal ropes and then there is Mark…

     

                Poor Mark, he helped Jenny pack her bags when she left with Di, that cold hearted….  When Carmen and Shane came home that night, Mark was gone.  Just up and disappeared. 

     

                Sabrina didn’t know where he was and she didn’t offer to help find him.  All his equipment was in the shed, so Carmen and Shane waited for him.

                “Hey,” Mark said from the door of the back porch.  Shane bolted to him, yanking the door open and hugging him.  Shane had missed Mark terribly, but wasn’t willing to say that out loud.  Mark hugged her back and smiled.  “I missed you guys,” Mark added and Carmen smiled wryly. 

     

                “Christ, man where have you been?”  Shane asked him, Mark slid his hands into his pockets.

     

                “I went home.  I had to find out if what Sabrina said was true.”

     

                “Oh,” Carmen said softly.  No one had really seen Sabrina after the blow out, things with Jenny being whisked away and Marina working for the mob was more important.

     

                “It was,” Mark admitted.  “She was right, I’m an awful brother.”

     

                “No man, you were young, you didn’t know.  She didn’t have any right putting that off on you,” Shane told him. 

     

                “She did,” Mark admitted.  “Is my stuff still back there?”  Mark asked and both women nodded.  “Can I stay?” 

     

                “Yeah, dude, of course.  Jenny is due back in a few weeks.  Marina is getting really antsy.  She’s worried about Jenny,” said Shane.  They were all worried about Jenny; it was almost as if Di had taken Jenny hostage.

     

                “I am too, how is A.J.?” asked Mark.

     

                “She’s good, Bette on the other hand isn’t handling being a stay at home mom really well,” said Carmen.  She and Shane exchanged looks and Shane grimaced, thinking things for Bette and Tina never seemed to sail smoothly.
