                “Dana, you’re being dramatic,” said Lara as she walked behind Dana who was stuffing some of her things into her bag.

     

                “No, no, I’m not! You spend more time with Alice than me,” roared Dana.  “I’m tired of it, I’m tired period, I’m over worked, I’m juggling four sponsors, promos, ad campaigns, and all you are doing is fucking around with my girl friend.”

     

                “You were there, in the same bed as us.  I just came over here to drop off some pastries that Alice asked for,” said Lara.  “Dana, you can’t leave Alice, she adores you.  I am not sleeping with Alice!”

     

                “Yeah, right,” said Dana.  “That’s why she wasn’t at my match today, right?  Instead she was doing a stupid radio show.”

     

                “That’s important to her and getting her website off the ground is important to her too,” said Lara.  “Hey,” said Lara grabbing at Dana’s hand, “…stop it.  You know, you pushed me away once, now you’re doing it with Alice.  Maybe you are the one who is blasting this relationship to hell, have you thought about that?”

     

                “Fuck you, Perkins,” said Dana with a sneer.

     

                “Yeah, well, fuck you too, Fairbanks,” said Lara.  “Go ahead, leave then, break up with her and devastate her.”

     

                “You’re here to pick up the pieces though, aren’t you?” said Dana, walking out the door and slamming it so hard that one of Alice’s pictures fell off of the wall and went crashing to the ground.

     

                “Fuck, Dana,” whispered Lara, shaking her head, wishing she’d never done what she’d done with Dana and Alice.
