“You are absolutely stunning, my love.” Helena’s voice was so soft that Lara thought she’d imagined it. “I’m sorry, but I couldn’t let you continue to cope with this all on your own.”
Lara turned to see Helena standing not two feet from her, dressed in a white linen skirt and form fitting white blouse, her dark hair falling lightly on her shoulders. Helena’s smile lifted her heart. She quickly closed the distance between them and melted into Helena’s arms.
“I am so happy you came,” Lara whispered, capturing Helena’s lips in an intense kiss.
Their need for one another was urgent. Lara stripped Helena of her clothes without pretense. She moved behind the Brit, savoring her collarbone and shoulders while maneuvering them to the window seat under the window in the alcove. Pausing long enough to drop her jeans and shuck off her retro tee shirt, she earned an appreciative moan from Helena. Dropping to her knees, Lara alternately suckled and nipped the already hard nubs before her. Woo-Hoo! So excited to see an update! I’m glad to see Alice and Dana moving forward against the tabloids — and I love the strategy they employed. Their legal team rocks! Good for Whit to come up with the counter-proposal. Yay for Helena! They both needed that — for more reasons than one. And Yay for Aunt Charlotte. Even if it doesn’t help mend fences, at least it might help Lara a little bit. Nadia is a bigger bitch than I thought. I think Bette is in for some trouble.
