Tina grabbed Bette and kissed her passionately she needed Bette to know how much she loved her. Tina knew all too well the feeling of not being able to get close enough to Bette. She often would shiver at the realization that even when she was in Bettes arms it didnt seem close enough. Tonight she would find away to make Bette know without any doubt she was loved.

Tina continued to kiss Bettes mouth and slowly moved down to her neck and just below her ear. She was encouraged to continue her loving assault as Bette let out a moan that seemed to arouse Tina again.

Tina slowly slid down to Bettes ***** and planted soft kisses on them before putting her nipple in her mouth and rolling it around her tongue. Bette became so aroused she couldnt see straight. Her head fell back as her back began to arch giving Tina more access to her beautiful *****. Tina wanted to make this last but she was becoming more and more aroused. Bette: Well T after I clean up our room I thought wed go to the Planet and maybe later call Al to see what shes up to.

Tina: Oh I was going to fix us breakfast this morning.

Bette: T dont go through the trouble and besides I didnt go grocery shopping”its something well have to do later today if thats okay.

Tina: Oh babe with everything that happened last night I forgot to tell you about Dana and you never told me about Shane either.

Bette: Thats right I meant to T but well last night and then this morning believe me nothing was on my mind but you. But Im curious to know how Danas doing.

Tina: Good, but you first; how is Shane, and do you think she wants more from you than what you can give her? Look, before you answer that I need you to know I really do miss her. Shes such a sweetheart and I know how well you two get along but babe if she cant accept our friendship I dont think it would be good for us to continue to hang out. It wouldnt be fair to her and I wouldnt trust it if something is just brewing beneath the surface waiting for a chance to happen. I wont go through that.

Bette: Babe Shane knows I love you and only you. She explained that she knew she put me in a horrible position and she just wants her friends back, you and me. I really think things will be okay. Youre right she is a sweetheart and she wont do anything to interfere with us. Shes happy were back together. I just think it was misguided interest shes okay. Really things like this happen a lot the thing is not to put too much on it. She knows its all about you T and Im not worried. She does think that you hate her. I told her you were the one that told me to go talk to her. She thinks I did okay hooking up with you. I told her you were alright. (Bette says with a chuckle.)

Tina: ALRIGHT Tina threw a pillow at Bette as Bette was changing the sheets on their bed.

Bette: T Im joking you know you are the love of my life, right? Im not playing Tina you know that right.

Tina noticed the seriousness in Bettes voice and walked over to Bette and kissed her tenderly.

Tina: You are the love of my life too Bette. I didnt know what love was until you showed me. Thank you for loving me the way you do. I know youll be an excellent mom because you do know how to love Bette.

Bette held Tina and just enjoyed the moment feeling for the first time in a long time at peace.

They leave their home and head for The Planet.

When they get there they see Dana and Tonyas not with her.

Bette: T you never told me what you and Dana talked about.

Tina: Youre right. I was so wrapped up in the Shane update I forgot to tell you. Im sure shell tell you whats up now. By the way I think Shane and I should talk to clear the air no more weirdness and thank God for second chances. Im going to get our drinks go talk to Dana.

Bette: Hey Dana how are you?

Dana: Im fine I guess. Tina didnt tell you?

Bette: No, she wanted to but we kind of got side tracked. Bette offered this with a sly smile.

Dana: God you two are amazing. I mean you really fucked up but you guys seem better than you were before and I didnt think that was possible. Yesterday Tina kept rambling on about that songYour Body is a Wonderland and when it got to the part how does it goDamn baby you frustrate me. I know youre mine all mine but you look so good it hurts sometimes -yeah thats it she told me every time she hears that she thinks of you. It was kind of sweet and sickening all at once, you know?

Bette: Dana ahh thank you I think. Look youre right I did ***** up and I took total responsibility and I know I wont do it again because I know how much I hurt her and myself.

Dana: That makes sense but I mean trust thats my issue. I dont really know Tonya that well, and what I do know, I dont like. But its too late to do anything about it and whats worse is there is someone else who I know really well and she makes me happy when shes around its just I never considered her before.


Tina approaches the tables with two coffees one for her and the other for Bette.

Shane walks in and at first freezes when she sees her old gang at their table. She doesnt know how to respond. Bette sees her and waves her over. Shane is relieved and hopes she doesnt say or do anything to mess up. She knows she has to get over Bette but its not something that happened overnight so it will take time shes sure it will go away sooner or later and shes hoping sooner”much sooner, than later.

When Shane approaches the table Tina gives her a hug and a kiss on the cheek.

Tina: I was going to call you later today. Im glad youre here now. Weve missed you. Ive missed you.

Dana: Oh good things are back to normal. For a while I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone or something. I mean Shane having the hots for Bette. Thats crazy talk. I mean Bette your beautiful God Bless, but you and Shane. I mean really Shane what were you thinking?

Dana is laughing it up until she notices Alice standing at the table about to sit down next to Shane.

Danas laughter immediately stops. Alice instantly picks up on the tension and decides to join in at Shanes expense to keep the heat off of her and Danas apparent strain.

Alice: Yeah its like Tina pass me the sugar. Oh thanks for doing that. Thanks for being there for me by the way Im in love with you for passing me the sugar.

Dana, Alice, and Tina laugh at this”it was funny, but WAY TOO SOON.

Bette notices Shane turn a crimson red. She sees her close her watery eyes and shoots Tina a look and Tina notices Shane and what she thinks is embarrassment; it’s really pain-real pain. Shane may not be ready to rejoin her old gang just yet and it hurts. Tina stopped laughing and mouthed to Bette TOO SOON FOR JOKES, UH? Bette nods back an emphatic YES!

Tina: Oh Shane Im sorry. That wasnt right. I didnt mean to be so careless.

Shane: No hey, it was funny right. Hey I see the humor in that. Its funny when a friend develops genuine, more than friendly feelings for a friend. Right Alice, right Dana; I mean its a laugh riot when you start avoiding each other and make fun of someone else to ease your tension. Ill be the scapegoat once, and once only.

Shane got up and walked over to the counter to get another coffee. Bette followed suit and Tina quickly followed. As Bette got up She shot Alice a look that anyone would hate to be on the receiving in of”nice, real nice, this is the first time weve all been together since”since the day you guys got me from the hospital and this is what you do? If Tina and I can get over it why cant you? Shanes right you two need to deal with whatever this is and not try to make other people uncomfortable just because you are.

Shane holding up her hand towards Bette, Its okay, no worries its just too soon to joke about it you know? Give it a few months at the very least a few weeks. I may actually get a bigger kick out of it than everyone, but not until then okay?

Bette giving Shane a hug, I agree its just too soon. Again Shane I shouldnt have laughed Im sorry”lets just forget about okay? added Tina.

Shane: Fine by me. Look, I better get going.

Tina: Do you really have to leave?

Shane: Yes

Bette: Look we are going to try this again. Everybody at our place tomorrow afternoon at 3:00 we will have a barbeque and let bygones be bygones, deal?
