    Life Through a Viewfinder

Tina and I just stare in disbelief.  After a few seconds we both start laughing and hug the couple tight.

“You guys will never believe this, but you are actually what brought us together!”   I go on to explain the events of that day and about the picture I had taken of them.  I even have a copy that I carry with me at all times in my wallet.  I bring it out to show them and we just stand there and take it all in.  We invite them to lunch and make our way to a little cafe a few blocks from the sculpture.  We have a wonderful afternoon with Gus and Florence and they answer all those questions that I had wondered about when I first saw them and their love is just as amazing as I had imagined.

After our chance meeting, I know without a doubt that the timing is perfect and I will carry out my plans for the evening.  I make a few calls and confirm all the reservations and work out the last little details while Tina is on the phone with her assistant in LA discussing her schedule for the next week.  After she hangs up I set the plan into motion.

“T, I was wondering if you would like to go on a date with me this evening?”

“A date huh?  Does this date include getting lucky at the end of the night?”  She wraps her arms around my neck as she says this and I can see a hint of mischief in those hazel eyes.

“Oh, I think that can be arranged.”  I give her my best naughty smile and pull her in for a deep and passionate kiss.  Then, I pull away and smack her on the ass while making a quick get away. “But, you have to have dinner with me first!”  I yell back at her as I make my way to the bathroom.  We need to shower and get ready as the car service I hired for the evening will be arriving soon.

An hour later we are both dressed and ready just in time as the driver calls to tell me he is out front whenever we are ready to go.
