Previously:
"I don’t know what to say. I don’t know if I am more upset that you didn’t tell me or the fact that you let some stranger control our daughters life for the past 6 months." Bette said and stormed out of the room.
"Bette, don’t leave like that." Tina called but it was too late the door had already slammed behind her.
Jess stood in the lobby of the hotel and looked out of the glass doors and the many photographers that were standing just outside. The team gathered around her.
"Jess wait." Bette called as she exited the elevator.
"Mom." Jess said turning.
"You don’t have to go out there if you don’t want to." Bette said.
"Yeah I do. It’s not just about me and Cat. It’s about this." Jess said reaching into her book bag. She pulled out a book with a red cover and a picture of Andy on it. ARTIST OR PLAYBOY? Was the title of the book.
"What is this?" Bette said. She flipped through the book.
"It’s an expose on dad. Some reporter found some of his journals. He turned them into this book along with some interviews and some research. He pegged dad. Just don’t get mad when you read it. I was always safe. Remember that okay." Jess said and headed for the door.
"Okay." Bette said quietly. She was still examining the book.
"Oh Mom." Jess said.
"Yeah, honey." Bette looked at Jess with tears in her eyes.
"I love you, and it wasn’t mom’s fault." Jess said and continued out of the door.
Bette watched Jess march through the flashes. It seemed to go in slow motion, until Tina ran up beside her.
"Babe I’m sorry." Tina said.
"No I’m sorry I shouldn’t have run out like that." Bette said.
"Let’s talk. I want to tell you everything that happened." Tina said.
"And I want you too." Bette said.
"Okay let’s go upstairs and talk." Tina said.
"What do you know about this?" Bette asked. She held the book up.
"Upstairs babe." Tina said.
"Okay." Bette said.
Upstairs
Bette sat down in one of the chairs at the table.

Well Charmed, Loads of drama in those last chapters. Goood to see that Jess is being herself with the family. Loved the way the TV bulletin and Expose book got under Bette’s skin and then Tna had to sort through it all with her partner. Great way to deal with some of the trauma of the past as these things effect each of us in different ways. It is how we deal with them and who we share them with that matters. A true sense of family is present here. SO just what will Jess do next. Can’t wait and Thank you for this bountiful harvest that entertains and satifies. Your Loyal Fan.
I dont think Jess want to be famous..she never liked to be on the spot. lol i know i wouldn’t like to be famous!..too much gossip to my taste and all the paparazzi. Nice chapter..waiting for your next update :)
I am so glad Bette sat down to listen, and I am glad Tina didn’t have a negative reaction to Bette’s storming out. Communication is the key. I hope Jess can handle all that will come at her. Let me find out little Jess was up in Studio 54…lol Is she friends with Drew Berrymore…lol

Charmed this is a very, very interesting story and so well done. Really enjoy reading it.
Weewwww, you had me sweating bullets for awhile. Seems Andy was not the father that he should have been. Maybe now Bette and Tina can understand some of the emotional outburst that Jess has shown throught out her life time. Andy seems to have done a number on Jess without meaning to.
Wow this is happen when you are in famous family and is will driving Jess and everyone crazy with paparazzi follow them and take a picture. Ok post soon please, thanks!
Is good to know that Bette was available to listen to Tina, now with the book it seems to me that will be a difficult time and that the family will be in the spot. i hope it won’t bother Jess game cause they are in an important tournament! wonderful as usual, keep going!

Catching up with your 2 last chapters, girl those are good, really very good. Bette & Jess are so alike it’s almost scary. This story is getting better and better, thanks for sharing.
