"Jess told me some what had happened when she got home, but that doesn’t explain this book." Bette said.
"Marty gave Jess a mission and this book sparked it. This book is going to cause a lot of problems and controversy. Jess is the public face of Andy’s family whether she wants to be or not. She has been it since well before Andy died. When you open this book and read through its pages you are going to see things you didn’t know about. Jess didn’t like going to see her dad for a few reasons. First we both know that she loved him very much. But you know that living with Andy was a constant party. You told me that your self." Tina said.
"I know that. He was definitely a party animal, but he told me he never let Jess around that part of his life. Jess never mentioned any of it, but I know she was around some of it because I have seen the walls of the beach house." Bette said.
"Yeah well apparently she was afraid you let her go see him at all if you knew that all they did was party. According to this book like father like daughter, and she doesn’t deny it." Tina said.
"Well it isn’t like she never partied with me." Bette said.
"According to Andy’s journals this were hard core parties." Tina said.
"Andy would never expose her to that." Bette said. Tina flipped through the book to one of the picture pages and pointed to a picture.
"If you look, There’s Andy, Madonna, Sandra something, and look up in this corner. That’s Jess with Alyssa who was always called to New York when Jess was there to help keep an eye on her. Let’s not forget how mischievous she could be when she wanted to be." Tina said.
"I had no idea." Bette said.
"Neither did I, not until Marty showed up with an unedited copy that the publisher had sent Julie. The publisher wasn’t asking permission from the family to print the book but since the owner of the publisher was a friend of Andy’s he felt it only right to warn us." Tina said.
"How come you didn’t tell me before?" Bette asked.
"Because when you came back the publisher held the printing of it back to add another chapter. The book had turned out to be about Andy and Jess. I was so excited to have you back that it completely fell to the back of my mind when Jess received this copy last week. She just showed up at my office and wanted to know what to do." Tina said.
Tina watched Bette closely. She could tell that Bette was taking it all in. She took Bette’s hands in hers.
"Are you okay?" Tina asked.
"Yeah it all makes sense now." Bette said.
"What does?" Tina asked.
"All of Jess’s famous friends and all the invites to the famous parties." Bette said.
"Who would have thought that the little girl I met on the beach that day would turn out to be some one famous." Tina said with a half smile.
"But is it what she wants?" Bette asked.

Well Charmed, Loads of drama in those last chapters. Goood to see that Jess is being herself with the family. Loved the way the TV bulletin and Expose book got under Bette’s skin and then Tna had to sort through it all with her partner. Great way to deal with some of the trauma of the past as these things effect each of us in different ways. It is how we deal with them and who we share them with that matters. A true sense of family is present here. SO just what will Jess do next. Can’t wait and Thank you for this bountiful harvest that entertains and satifies. Your Loyal Fan.
I dont think Jess want to be famous..she never liked to be on the spot. lol i know i wouldn’t like to be famous!..too much gossip to my taste and all the paparazzi. Nice chapter..waiting for your next update :)
I am so glad Bette sat down to listen, and I am glad Tina didn’t have a negative reaction to Bette’s storming out. Communication is the key. I hope Jess can handle all that will come at her. Let me find out little Jess was up in Studio 54…lol Is she friends with Drew Berrymore…lol

Charmed this is a very, very interesting story and so well done. Really enjoy reading it.
Weewwww, you had me sweating bullets for awhile. Seems Andy was not the father that he should have been. Maybe now Bette and Tina can understand some of the emotional outburst that Jess has shown throught out her life time. Andy seems to have done a number on Jess without meaning to.
Wow this is happen when you are in famous family and is will driving Jess and everyone crazy with paparazzi follow them and take a picture. Ok post soon please, thanks!
Is good to know that Bette was available to listen to Tina, now with the book it seems to me that will be a difficult time and that the family will be in the spot. i hope it won’t bother Jess game cause they are in an important tournament! wonderful as usual, keep going!

Catching up with your 2 last chapters, girl those are good, really very good. Bette & Jess are so alike it’s almost scary. This story is getting better and better, thanks for sharing.
