“You have. All good I Hope. There are a couple artist here that I think that you are really going to like. I think that they are all here. They are being exhibit this month in the student gallery. Why don’t we go down and see?” She said.

Student Gallery

Jess walked around with Tina. Bette and Dr. Phillips were deep in conversation with one of the artist Sarah Freeman about showing some of her work in Bette’s Gallery.

“Mama, I’m bored.” Jess said.

“I know honey. Hopefully she is almost done.” Tina said looking at her watch. She enjoyed looking at art and going to different shows but she wasn’t into it as Bette was.

“Yeah right.” Jess said. Tina gave Jess a half smile. She knew that Jess needed to let some energy out. If she didn’t she was going to do something and get in trouble.

“Why don’t we go outside and wait. It is such a pretty day.” Tina said. Jess smiled she would do anything to get out of there. Tina led Jess out into the court yard. There was a fountain and some benches around it. Tina sat on the bench.

“Jess be careful.” Tina said. Jess was walking around the edge of the fountain. Jess jumped off the edge and laid on her stomach sticking her hands in the water. After 45 min, Bette walked out into the courtyard.

“Here you guys are. I have been looking for you guys all over.” She said. Jess turned to look at her. she held the green leaf that she was using as boat. “What are you doing out here?” She asked.

“She was bored.” Tina answered.

“I was bored. Can we go see granddaddy now Please?” Jess said drying her hands on her shorts.

“Sure.” Bette said.

“Yay” Jess said. They walked towards car they had rented.

The car ride was silent as the tension grew.

Melvin’s Office

Jess walked in ahead of Bette and Tina. Melvin was waiting at the front desk for them. Jess ran to him giving him a hug. He greeted Bette and Tina. He then led them back to his private corner office.

“So how was your morning?” He asked Jess.
