Shannon walked in the door.
Hey where is everyone? She said loudly. She walked around the apparently empty house. She heard something move upstairs. Is anyone home? She headed upstairs when no one answered. She stood at the top of the stairs. She could hear Jesss radio on through the closed door.
Jess. She said and tried to open the door it was locked. She knocked and in a minute Jess opened the door.
Hey what are you doing here. I didnt expect you until later. Jess said and walked back to her desk and sat down.
Whats going on? Shannon asked.
What are you talking about? Jess said innocently.
Jess I am not stupid. She said.
Fine. Justin you can come in its just Shannon. Jess said. Justin climbed in the window.
Hey Shannon How is it going? He said.
Its going all right I guess. She said.
I am going to get out of here babe. He said.
Okay I will talk to you later. Jess said kissing him and walked with him out.
Jess came back in a minute.
I take it Mom and Mama dont know that he was here. Shannon said.
Are you kidding they would kill me. They wont even let us up here when they are home. Jess said.
Sorry I didnt mean to interrupt anything. Shannon said. Jess looked at her. Is this what you wanted to talk to me about? she asked.
No. Jess said.
Okay then what was it? Shannon asked.
I have decided on a college. If they offer me what I want. Jess said.
Okay what did you decide? Shannon asked solemnly.
You promise you wont be mad. Jess said.
Jess You know I want you to go to Carolina, but you know that I want you to be happy above all and if you will be happy somewhere else then that is where you should go as long as it isnt Clemson. Shannon said.
Dont worry it isnt Clemson. Its UCLA, and my decision has nothing to do with Justin I swear. Jess said.

I think 5 kids is enough….or maybe not LOL!
So Jess is going to UCLA with Laurie. I’m guessing that pretty soon if you continue that you will change the story’s title as Jess’ life won’t really be with her parents anymore. And, I’m most likely way off here, but I have this feeeeeeeling (lol sorry) that Jess will dump Justin and something will cook between Laurie and Jess, even if it’s not permanent. :O
Five children. Lord help us. Way more than enough. It all sounds really good and everyone seems to be getting along very well. Thanks for the post.

As I was reading, I thought another adoption and then I remembered Angelica. I just hope that Jess does not break too many rules. Bette and Tina had a way of controlling Jess, but off at college sometimes kids make major mistakes. Just hope that Jess does not repeat Bette’s mistake although if it was not for that mistake Jess would not be here. Maybe once school starts that Bette and Tina will get more time to themselves to explore each other. Great chapter to an already great story.
